This game's visuals and art style are truly incredibly eye pleasing and very pretty, and I always love games where you really start to sit there and think over the things the cast of characters have been saying throughout the game and really try and dig deep as to who you can even trust in the game's plot. Shiori tends to pretty often choose to play games I haven't heard of before, but man do I ever end up enjoying them quite a lot, and this was no exception.
This game's art style is so pretty and the presentation is just immaculate. I was a little lost on the story (probably because I'm a little sleepy) but it was interesting enough when I as able to get it. This game really has a lot of themes and elements that really aligns with Shiori's interests that it seemed like it was made specifically for her.

I love the dark horror undertones with the sort of pop up book kind of style. The play on words with the names is nice and the lore is alluring and mysterious. Not sure what the gameplay really was, but this was an aesthetically awesome visual styled novel. Art design, and sound design are absolutely peak. Really great use of atmospheric horror without being scary. Would be really interesting to see where the narative goes in future chapters, and character encounters. I;ll never not be able to think Ame BMG when hearing that particular music.
Theory time. This is just what came to mind after we saw the animated video. The one of the two kids is Demetria. The older one is the bigger sister figure who showed Demetria what a amusement part could be. The reason the scene turns basically black is because this something terrible happens soon afterward to the older child that we do not yet know. Ever since whenever she tries to sleep, the nightmare of what happen replays. Inky is black and white because she is Demetria's means of expression as all she could do was draw on paper for entertainment so without Inky Demetria has nothing. Which is why the only real time Demetria panics is when Inky is gone while other times she is somewhat calm. The other residents could represent the other parts of Demetria's mind. Deliriini is the part that tricks themselves into believing that everything is fine and normal and can't handle when someone says something that goes against that like at the beginning. Aelios could represent the older child as they were the one who brightened Demetria's life as Aelios means sun. Also, Aelios is the only person who really helped Demetria and Inky by hiding them and warning them about Zipp. Illusia is the part that believes they don't deserves happiness as the first thing she does is try to eat Inky and paper was Demetria's only means of expression. The other toys represent the other children at the orphanage and how Demetria views them. I could be completely wrong, but it's fun to make theories.

Aelios' name might come effectively from Helios, which means Sun, but it could also be a corruption of Aeolis, as in the Aeolis quadrangle of Mars or the Aeolia region of ancient Greece. Given the "bright" personality of our beloved magician, the first assumption might be the most plausible one, but who knows 😂.
Skale when the giant black and white eye illustration appeared: wow! Shiori, a millisecond later: wow! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 The true beauty of synchronization. The game definitely reminds me of that Mad*ka Magica you mentioned and of course of our beautiful Ev*rhood for all this immortality thing, but the most prevalent thing in my mind while watching this was something called the Amaz*ng D*gital C*rcus. Yet it was like diving in the mind of a crazy harlequin (like me! 😂). So Shioric too of course 👍👍📚. Is that what happens inside you when you acquire forbidden knowledge? Could be 😉✨. The style of character design reminded me of a person from my past... I wonder if they were hers 🤔. I was able to play it beforehand and fell in love with the game's art style and OST right out of the gate.The creatures have both cute and cool designs, especially the button flowers! They had a lot of expression with their button eyes and it stands out in a wonderful way even with their lack of a mouth! I really liked how detailed they went with the character profiles too and I can't wait to see more of them as new chapters release!I think Zipp is currently my favorite in terms of design, but I'm interested to see if that changes as we get more updates for the game! Also, the camera movement in the cutscenes was great and it made for some serious wallpaper worthy shots! Overall though, this is an exceptionally promising game and I'm looking forward to continue playing it as the chapters release! Thank you for the stream as always, Shiori! This story has so many concepts, and philosophy from all over the place; it’s really something else. Personifications of several aspects of the mind, and its disorders, delving into the inner world, and im assuming trauma eventually. Thank you for streaming yet another super interesting game I would *not* have found otherwise! "Interesting" is a very good word to describe it, I feel like. The aesthetics, though, were absolutely undeniably top-notch, and very Shiori-core if that makes sense? I had a great time enjoying the spectacle. The story itself... is hard to judge at this point, I'd say? There's so much lore we don't know and so many ideas left to be introduced still. I feel that it's sadly dragged down a fair bit by the kinda wonky translation, but it definitely has a ton of potential and a lot of interesting ideas, which I am keen to see explored in future chapters! The big climactic fight, the talk with Demetria on the train and the visual-style-subverting horror section right afterwards were genuinely very good imho, and if they're any indication of the level of storytelling future chapters are gonna be on, then we're all in for an absolute treat~ I also particularly enjoyed (and did so VERY much, I damn loved that section) the character bios and the associated artworks! The translation work on them seemed to have been quite a bit more refined, and really made it apparent that there is much, MUCH more thematic and emotional depth to these characters than what we've been led to believe from just the first chapter... which I guess makes sense lol. As no doubt everyone else has said already, the character designs are absolutely stellar - the inclusion of a specific theme like Wuyan/Wuwu's octopus motif or Illusia's moths (contrasting it with Demetria just being a normal girl and not really having one is SUCH a cool play btw) is something I found really enjoyable and, in a way, reminiscent of Vtuber design principles! Definitely a lot for me to get inspired by and learn from. Regarding the translation, though, one thing that intrigued me is the credits mentioning a Polish localization - which just happens to be my first language! I am *really* curious to see how well it's done and how it differs compared to English, so I'd say the chances of me playing the game for myself are quite high now~ Looking forward to the collab tomorrow (Gigi talking about fanfiction is bound to be a fun time), as well as to all the projects you're cooking up in secret! I bet they're going to turn out amazing

The hidden details in the dialogue are neat too. In one choice, I chose something I was not suppose to say, and the game just reset that dialogue choice and even removed it so I wouldn't pick it again. It is a really nice detail to add, and possibly add more to the lore building.

The art direction is absolutely stunning! It has this fever dream feel to it, or like an illusion... Love the character designs too, they look really good! I like how characterized they are, looking at the gallery, they put a lot into making them feel human, though it might not fully show in the game. I really like Illusia! I'm interested on where the story goes! A little bit of hidden meanings here and there. I wonder if the Paper boat is also a symbolism? Interestingly, the name Aelios means "Sun" or "Sunshine"! Seems like it's like a gender neutral name derived from Helios. Helpful game design choices too, like the star for interactibles and healings! Good vibes all over even with the gameplay, with a bit of intense moments here and there. 1:02:21 I love it too when they have characters follow and talk to you, makes the travel much more lively! I have a really bad motion sickness irl, but it doesn't affect me while I watch or play games for some reason (there are exceptions, like old PS1 Spyro camera), it only does affect me when I get on transportations for long trips. "Funny" thing, is that I have to travel a lot, but medications help me. So, most of the times, I don't have problems anymore. I expected this to affect me a little bit but it didn't, so I'm happy. I really like the game's art style and the turn it had towards the end of the adventure. Also the character gallery was amazing, learning trivia and facts. It makes me feel more attached to them and to me that's really important to enjoy a story. Shiori was so strong against that final boss! Always thanks for your hard work and content, I appreciate Shiori!
This game looks so beautiful and I love the vibes that it's bringing up. I can easily feel that it has a madoka sort of vibe but also a bit of a creepy sort of Alice in Wonderland sort of feeling. And while even I don't know what's going on with the story, I am willing to learn more about this world, especially with that the fact that there will be more chapters. Also, Shiori's commentary was on point and her man love geek out was fun lol. Exeunt is just Latin. The game was trying to be fancy. That said it's the wrong conjugation anyway, it shouldn't be in that form. Exit is technically Latin also, but it's idiomatic and a loanword so it's not supposed to be conjugated anyway. Exeunt is just wrong for that tbh.
That was an amazing game, and it was only the first chapter! But it does remind me of Madoka's choice of art direction for witches and their domains, and reminds me that altho I finished the main TV series, I never finished watching the Rebellion movie. Pretty sure important friends in my life got me interested years ago. Another artstyle it reminds me of is from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (black comedy anime) and its OP 3, esp. the rap version of the song. Which is why the only real time Demetria panics is when Inky is gone while other times she is somewhat calm. The other residents could represent the other parts of Demetria's mind. Deliriini is the part that tricks themselves into believing that everything is fine and normal and can't handle when someone says something that goes against that like at the beginning. Aelios could represent the older child as they were the one who brightened Demetria's life as Aelios means sun. Also, Aelios is the only person who really helped Demetria and Inky by hiding them and warning them about Zipp. Illusia is the part that believes they don't deserves happiness as the first thing she does is try to eat Inky and paper was Demetria's only means of expression. The other toys represent the other children at the orphanage and how Demetria views them.
I could be completely wrong, but it's fun to make theories.

Aelios' name might come effectively from Helios, which means Sun, but it could also be a corruption of Aeolis, as in the Aeolis quadrangle of Mars or the Aeolia region of ancient Greece. Given the "bright" personality of our beloved magician, the first assumption might be the most plausible one, but who knows 😂.

I was able to play it beforehand and fell in love with the game's art style and OST right out of the gate.The creatures have both cute and cool designs, especially the button flowers! They had a lot of expression with their button eyes and it stands out in a wonderful way even with their lack of a mouth! I really liked how detailed they went with the character profiles too and I can't wait to see more of them as new chapters release!I think Zipp is currently my favorite in terms of design, but I'm interested to see if that changes as we get more updates for the game! Also, the camera movement in the cutscenes was great and it made for some serious wallpaper worthy shots!
Overall though, this is an exceptionally promising game and I'm looking forward to continue playing it as the chapters release!

This story has so many concepts, and philosophy from all over the place; it’s really something else. Personifications of several aspects of the mind, and its disorders, delving into the inner world, and im assuming trauma eventually. The way this game glitches from really shows how unstable that place is.

Thank you for streaming yet another super interesting game I would *not* have found otherwise! "Interesting" is a very good word to describe it, I feel like.
The aesthetics, though, were absolutely undeniably top-notch, and very Shiori-core if that makes sense? I had a great time enjoying the spectacle.
The story itself... is hard to judge at this point, I'd say? There's so much lore we don't know and so many ideas left to be introduced still. I feel that it's sadly dragged down a fair bit by the kinda wonky translation, but it definitely has a ton of potential and a lot of interesting ideas, which I am keen to see explored in future chapters!
The big climactic fight, the talk with Demetria on the train and the visual-style-subverting horror section right afterwards were genuinely very good imho, and if they're any indication of the level of storytelling future chapters are gonna be on, then we're all in for an absolute treat~
I also particularly enjoyed (and did so VERY much, I damn loved that section) the character bios and the associated artworks! The translation work on them seemed to have been quite a bit more refined, and really made it apparent that there is much, MUCH more thematic and emotional depth to these characters than what we've been led to believe from just the first chapter... which I guess makes sense lol. As no doubt everyone else has said already, the character designs are absolutely stellar - the inclusion of a specific theme like Wuyan/Wuwu's octopus motif or Illusia's moths (contrasting it with Demetria just being a normal girl and not really having one is SUCH a cool play btw) is something I found really enjoyable and, in a way, reminiscent of Vtuber design principles! Definitely a lot for me to get inspired by and learn from.
Regarding the translation, though, one thing that intrigued me is the credits mentioning a Polish localization - which just happens to be my first language! I am *really* curious to see how well it's done and how it differs compared to English, so I'd say the chances of me playing the game for myself are quite high now~

The hidden details in the dialogue are neat too. In one choice, I chose something I was not suppose to say, and the game just reset that dialogue choice and even removed it so I wouldn't pick it again. It is a really nice detail to add, and possibly add more to the lore building.

Interestingly, the name Aelios means "Sun" or "Sunshine"! Seems like it's like a gender neutral name derived from Helios.

I have a really bad motion sickness irl, but it doesn't affect me while I watch or play games for some reason (there are exceptions, like old PS1 Spyro camera), it only does affect me when I get on transportations for long trips. "Funny" thing, is that I have to travel a lot, but medications help me. So, most of the times, I don't have problems anymore.
I expected this to affect me a little bit but it didn't, so I'm happy.
I really like the game's art style and the turn it had towards the end of the adventure. Also the character gallery was amazing, learning trivia and facts. It makes me feel more attached to them and to me that's really important to enjoy a story.

This game looks so beautiful and I love the vibes that it's bringing up. I can easily feel that it has a madoka sort of vibe but also a bit of a creepy sort of Alice in Wonderland sort of feeling. And while even I don't know what's going on with the story, I am willing to learn more about this world, especially with that the fact that there will be more chapters. Also, Shiori's commentary was on point and her man love geek out was fun lol. But it does remind me of Madoka's choice of art direction for witches and their domains, and reminds me that altho I finished the main TV series, I never finished watching the Rebellion movie. Pretty sure important friends in my life got me interested years ago. Another artstyle it reminds me of is from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (black comedy anime) and its OP 3, esp. the rap version of the song.
