    Some really great adult romances are:
    -The flatshare by Beth O'Leary
    -Well met by Jen De luca
    -The unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
    -You deserve each otherby Sarah Hogle (this one requires some patience)
    And if you want to try historical romance Tessa dare writes feel good stories that are also really funny!

      I have a question, I am 14 (15 in a few days actually) and I heard Radio Silence is about going to college and don't really know what to do with your live or something like that. I have 3 years of school ahead of me and I really wanna read this book at the right time. So would you recommend it for me right now or maybe a few years later when it may be more relateable?

    • @marianadias6769
      @marianadias6769 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Lilli Feldeborn I actually read it after going to college, but it was still super relatable to me
      I think you'll enjoy it anyway, specially if you're used to that parents talk that's like "you have to go to college to be successful", God knows how common that is
      So yeah, I believe you won't miss out if you read it now, and if you enjoy it a lot you can even re-read it when you're closer to going to college :)

    If you liked The Hating Game, I‘d really recommend The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. It‘s also an adult hate to love romance and it‘s soooo much fun! And a romance with the MOST beautiful and unique writing I have ever read is Call me by your name by Andre Aciman 🥰

    adult romance options because you asked and i am a SLUT for romance: before you say i do by clare lydon (to-be-bride hires a professional bridesmaid and falls in love with her), red white and royal blue by casey mcquiston (technically new adult and one you’ve probably heard of but i love it and it deserves a shout out) my favorite half night stand by christina lauren (friends to lovers), the unhoneymooners by christina lauren (enemies to lovers go on a honeymoon together), get a life chloe brown by talia hibbert (such an odd couple. i love them.), well met by jen deluca (enemies to lovers but at the RENAISSANCE FAIRE)

    I have to pause the video. I was not prepared for graphs. I love graphs & I love you too. Sorry to interrupt, please continue. Excellent! My favorite 5 star book so far this year is Almayer Station by Sean Danker - it's book 4 in a series (i have no fear 😂) I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Worst, would another sci-fi, Velocity Weapon: it has a lot of good press, & was nominated for a Philip K Dick Award, but it was not for me - 2 stars

    Heading to Twitter to nominate Mexican Gothic for the bookclub. It's set in 1950s Mexico, and in my head so far it is a combination between a novel by Angeles Mastretta, who writes Mexican women and Mexican culture beautifully, and Get Out. So. Yes!
    Plus the old antiquated people in the story remind me of my grandma and her (outdated) way of thinking.

    I absolutely loved Radio Silence as well :3, if you really like it I would also recommend Solitaire, I think it might have been Alice Oseman’s debut novel? It has similar vibes to Radio Silence but it also has a lot of other unique themes to it that don’t get explored in as much depth as in Radio Silence :)).

    I have a completely opposite problem, I just couldn't allow myself to leave a series undone before I start a new one lol. For some reason I feel guilty for not being able to finish something before I start something new. As to a fantasy series that is inspired by another country, I would very much recommend The Wheel of Time series which is heavily inspired by Eastern culture. However, reading that series is a big commitment tho, since it's 14-book long or 15 if you count the one prequel book.
