    Great review as usual.
    I'm an amateur and I replaced the Hexer Grip with a Grip SFX and love it.
    With the Grip I often overshoot the table. The Grip will definitely be used when I gain more technique.

    Thanks for the video! What sponge thickness do you use in your reviews? I would love to see a video from you, where you explain how different sponge thickness effects the performance of the rubber. Perhaps also explain what the difference between a hard blade + soft sponge and soft blade + hard sponge are. Thanks! :-)

    Im on about 15 hours of training/match play with Hexer grip 1.9 red on my backhand and Hexer Powergrip 2.1 forehand. My level was up the first night I used it, no bullshit...Today I beat a guy up pretty good that I haven't beat at his house in over a year. The thought process is gone now I just swing and the control is so real that I can play a little reckless and the ball lands on the table...the Tenergy rubbers either go into the net or off the table it was a constant struggle for over a year. Service returns are a breeze and that was my main weakness this stuff stops the spin it's crazy!...Every player so far is having trouble with my loops I was getting knocked around with Tenergy the Powergrip has very good spin especially with brushing loops I can pull some digs out...1800-2000 level

    Hexer is the best. I've used it on a flexible blade (gambler speed ,both fh and bh ), a super stiff one ( Sanwei f3 fro, backhand ), and all round blade ( Andro csv all+ , both sides ) and I'll say this - get used to the gears, and you'll be rewarded. Spin, control, and power, it's all there.

    • @antonyang7273
      @antonyang7273 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ahmed, do u notice the Sanwei F3 pro is similar to Viscaria or maybe the Timo Boll ALC ? incase you have tried booth or one

    • @demhandzz
      @demhandzz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anton Praja I've tried the alc and imo stick to the alc if you have it, f3 pro has too much bounce and lifting backspin with forehand is a pain, might just be my incorrect technique though. Anyway what I'm saying it's super fast and hard to control, and unless you play for hours and hour and mold your technique to fit the blade, you'll feel like it's a waste of money.
      Edit: also note that it has Zero dwell time cuz it's super stiff

    • @antonyang7273
      @antonyang7273 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@demhandzz I did play with F3 pro of my friend's. It's true, the control for short game were a pain. But it was good for smashing and looping for far distance...

    • @demhandzz
      @demhandzz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anton Praja so my set up on the f3 pro is a Hexer Duro on the backhand and a Yoo Nam hype KR on the fore,
      After a bit of practice and adjustments, I think that anything to do with the backhand is perfect, be it flicks, blocks, short pushes, looping backspin and so on
      Smashing on the forehand is really good, you get a nice click sound with proper contact that I really like, and again short pushes and chops are good,
      The only downside is when I loop backspin from close, the ball has low spin which my opponents can easily hit for a winner, and when I get far from the table, I have to flat hit because topspinning becomes a problem,
      But again that might be me and my improper technique, because I'm a taller player (6"1) and require a larger/wider stroke so my timing gets messed up and the blade is again really fast
      This was just my two penny thoughts, if you think the blade works for you and you can get good control, go for it
      Also I'm just a random person on the Internet, and since you don't know how I play, take my opinions with a grain of salt

    Hi guys!
    I wonder what is difference between PowerGrip SFX and Grip (standard, non SLX version). I know that the first is 42,5 and second one 45 of hardness. Does it mean that PowerGrip SFX is a little slower but has better control?
    I want to use Grip SFX on BH and I'm not sure is better to get the PowerGrip SFX or Grip on FH.
