@@sparky_ded why would I lie 🤷🏼♂️ he grew up in the same village as me. A small place called Harthill in central Scotland. He's a couple years older than me though 😂
Had the absolute privilege of watching him at the sse hydro, he’s hilarious, entertaining and definitely knows how to put on a show, will definitely be back.
In another life he was Houdini, Sherlock Holmes, Barnum And Bailey all in one - now he comes to this lifetime as Colin Cloud. He's clearly a master of an audience.
I've saw Colin perform live, several times. I've still got all my tickets from every show. The venue where he performs is only a 5min walk from my house. I can tell u all without any shadow of a doubt that anyone chosen to take part in Colin's acts are completely random. It's natural for ur brain to reject what ur seeing when he performs, because it's contradicting what it's been programmed to believe. Cognitive Dissonance it's called. A good idea I found out was to read up on Colin, finding out as much as I could about the art of what he does. He started off here in a UK city where I live now, and now performing at multiple sold out shows all over the world. Seriously though, do ur research xx
MrBazuka456 While much of the human brain remains a mystery, I'm aware it is impossible to read minds (or so we're taught 😊)Colin is a Mentalist, there are various methods he uses in his acts. From Psychology to magic. But my point being, he 100% does not have people who are acting along with him.
Hate people who think magic and tricks like these are all because the audience is in on it. Magic is much more clever than that and there would be no satisfaction in tricking only a few people because the rest were playing along
He forces it some way, possibly by getting a mate to ask the people about the things that come up. And then obviously he rigs what question the people in the audience pick. It’s a hell of a lot of pre show work, or maybe he does just get the audience in on it.
@@dwightk.schruteiii8454 She's not wrong. Or at least, she's echoing the sentiment many magicians have expressed over the years. Penn&Teller, for example, don't let anyone on their show use stooges (the term for audience members who are 'in on it') because of exactly that reason - it's no fun if they aren't fooling the person on stage as well. They want their act to fool every person possible, not just a select few. The best magicians want the same, and they become the best by virtue of the cleverness and intricacy of their acts, the hard work put in to preparing and presenting them, all guided by that principle. Believing that the best magicians or those who want to be the best follow this is far from naive.
I thought he COMPLETELY messed up but then I saw his shirt at the end and then I thought how did he not know what to say but then show everyone he knew it was Superman
I have allott of Colins work and I can honestly say he is one of the greatest minds I'm magic. I perform mentalism and magic. I'm usually very picky when I'm looking for other performers ideas and insight but this mans thinking is so refreshing to the point of after 20 years of doing magic reading his ideas and methods makes me feel like a kid again learning for the first time
This is so cool, I don't care if it is or isn't mystical or whatever. It's amazing whatever it is. This dude is smart as fuck and super charismatic. I'm sure there's a method but I don't wanna know, it'll take the fun out of it for me
Cool Stuff all the people that he calls from the audience are actual actors, check how it's him who chooses each person and not a single one is chosen at random.
No, he used forces. The first force with the cards was that she touched the back of a card, and he split the deck to show her the card which was actually at the bottom, it said "Think of Shake It Off". The band trick is a common trick, and that guys card said "Think of Superman". It was that simple. The principle is called dual reality, where the audience and participants are technically seeing two different tricks.
Google for Minimax by Edo. That's the metal detector he's probably using. Also, search magic websites for steel quarters. Those are the kind that can be detected.
Hey,,,, i am someone from Afghanistan, and after watching your videos i became interested on your work, i have a small suggestion , can u tell me about my realty that i don't know?? We can talk don't worry if u want we'll be conecct by skype or something else , plzzzzzzz answer me 😢😢😢😢
Come on guys... read the other comments, I've answered this question several times! This video is the edited broadcast version, trimmed down to flow more smoothly. In the live performance, everyone had to wait while the stage hand brought her the microphone.
Finally someone used the right word. “Mentalist”. Thank you !

Well done, Garry!

Not so basic anymore, unfortunately.

Susan Mooney yess agreed, but it's a trick at the end of the day,no man in this world has mystical powers to read minds.lol

Ruth Russell it is a trick as simple as that. There is no way he can read people's thoughts. There is a way he does it but we'll never know.

amazing...mesmerize me
I like how he was quiet for a moment the slowly showed the audience what he thought.
Wow. Just wow
How the second lady got the microphone so fast?
Although this was a live performance, I believe the aired version was edited for better pacing.
good question...didnt think of that
Magnoli Clothiers Ltd. agree... I would get bored waiting the microphone to reach the lady.
So cutting that out is a thoughtful act.
illuminati..unconfirmed..
and the microphones perfectly lined up to the 'random' peoples heights
I was thinking of shake it off and then she said it and i was just in awe. thats crazy
