    Nice video. I've seen other fixes that didn't give results, but yours is definitely the best!

    I bought a used combo set off a guy on Ebay. It was the type where you had to change from stretcher to shrinker setup as you needed them. I decided to just make my own jaw holder and did just that so I could use one for shrinking, the other for stretching. Then powder coated one red and the other blue and made a floor stand for them. They work great now and you can use one or the other without swapping out anything. Not hard to do... Thumbs Up for your repair of yours...

      Making your own Jaw holder is well done! Even though mine didn't work at first, you can't buy the material any cheaper, so I'm happy even if I had to rebuild it. Thanks for sharing!

    Great video! What gauge sheet metal in the video? Thanks.

      Thanks! 10mm = just over 3/8 inch or 1,8 gauge.

    I would send the device back and ask for a working version.

      I bought mine very cheap directly from China and therefore it will be too expensive for me to send it back. Had I bought it in a regular store, I would return it and asked for a working version.

    Hello. Do you offer to make and sell the parts in this video for the shrinker/stretcher? Thanks Bob

      Sorry, I'm not selling anything, but I hope this video will help others who bought a shrinker/stretcher that doesn't work, to work as it should.

      Thanks! As long as the price is right, you can put in the time and get this shrinker/stretcher from Vevor working perfect!

    OMG, we dont need to see 10 minutes of grinding and polishing metal, I know how to do that. Lets see how it fits and works

      @perssonsgarage  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Some want to see the whole process, others don't. In the description, you can always jump directly to the finished solution and see how the result turned out.

    So why is it called a shrinker stretcher if it is just a block of bits. Reminds me of the Chinese wheels I bought. After many modifications it's now almost a English wheel. 😂

      I looked at those, ended up with precision machined wheels and made my own chassis, still came out 300£/$/€ cheaper than the Chinese cr@p too.

    I had the same problem with this Vevor Chinese shit absolute junk and a waste of money.
    I purchased Lancaster made in USA 🇺🇸 and it works great don’t waste your money buying cheap Chinese shit.
