    I got injured by a horse bucking and while recovering I've been humming for hours a day and the things you describe sounds so similar to my experience. After sending a radio frequency to my brain, this humming has really addressed the pressures in my face as the surface and heal! It's a beautiful thing :) There's a book called the Humming Effect that explains the multiple benefits.

    I use ACV to tone, as the body moisturizes itself unless we're moisturizing it. What we eat/drink helps with moisturizing.
    I think of my little granddaughter to keep a smile on my face as much as I can. My lifelong bad habit that I have is my head going forward when driving, writing, reading, texting etc. When the base of my neck hurts I straighten up, temporarily.
    I have a jade roller, better get using it!

    I like your work about fascia. But I get very leary of alternative health practitioners who talk so much about detoxifying. Just using the word "dirty" to talk about cells and that there is dirt in our cells is not accurate and doesn't sit well. Yes we can support our body to do its natural daily detoxing that it will do on its own. There's so much obsession with detoxing. It was worse in the early 2000s but i still hear it and it's making a comeback. And can lead to orthorexia and other imbalanced ways of seeing ourselves. We can become somatic perfectionists.

    Rolled up towel (or buy block), lie straight on yr side, towel under side of neck, diaphramatcally (deep) breath for 3 minutes. Same under armpit, ribcage & waist. Then turn & repeat on other side. Each time deep breath for 3 min. Takes me about an hour each morning but I've spent thousands on my lower back & this worked better & quicker. Hurts at first but eases. There are other positions depending on what part of body yr experiencing pain, I just looked up images.

      @@kristinerendulic5501 just thought I'd mention I've had 4 lots of 'healing crisis' over 4 months. Didn't even know what it was but basically my spine is re-aligning & my body is getting rid of toxins I've stored in fascia (prevents it going into organs). Some seem to experience an emotional crisis (crying/sadness during the exercises). I had just physical symptoms but somehow knew I wasn't ill. Massive vertigo & bringing up pure bile, lasting anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. Not pleasant so instead of daily I'm trying maybe 3 times a week & s.times one min. instead of 3. Gd luck.

    I have late onset cervical scoliosis and I always thought it might have developed after I had a lasik monovision procedure! Of course, one eye is dominant, depending on whether I am seeing at a distance or close up. I appreciated your comments about vision. Makes so much sense.

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, yes, it is very likely that the scar tissue and trauma from the surgery has changed the way your head and neck is aligned over time. If we have a dominant eye, the head will tilt in response. Deanna has said that her vision has improved tremendously as she has worked on it over the years! Again, it is all about if the body has enough space and flow to function properly.

I already do pilates or yoga everyday in addition to doing rebounding/walking. I’ve just started a self acupressure program and facial massage. What kind of time commitment would a fascia release program take on a daily basis?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Hi, great question! For best results, we recommend at least a half hour of practice a day if possible. Most of our Daily Guided Programs are built for 30-60 minutes of time committed. But Block Therapy can fit into any schedule, and if you only have time for 5 to 15 minutes, one to three positions per day will still get you started on the right direction!
      Our Sampler Program contains 9 15-minute classes, so it is a great place to start:

If we are lucky, we will get older. If we dont want to look old, other than not ageing, we should do the things that help with that, the above...

    Interesting however what ages the face most in terms of wrinkling is hands down, excessive sun exposure. No amount of block therapy can prevent pre mature wrinkling if you are exposed to excessive sun. The information on postural changes is very good and I found this helpful.

      there's i think 3 elements to facial aging: skin, volume and sag.
      sounds like this takes care of sag (which is the hardest thing to fix)
      skin is easier to treat with good skincare and yes, sun protection!!

    Does wearing earrings affects fascia?

    • @Fluidisometrics
      @Fluidisometrics  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, definitely, though it can be negligible depending on how sensitive you are. It is certain that the heavier earrings will slowly affect the alignment of the ear over time, as well as, to a certain extent, the scar tissue from the piercing itself. Supporting the ear with fascia decompression can help to keep the fascia around the ear and jaw healthy as you continue to wear what you want!
