I like to request a video - Featured image from URL is a plug-in but I like to avoid using plugins so it would be great if you can make a video where we can add custom code in php with the same functionality. It’s relatively simple, add featured image via an external url without saving the image to the media in Wordpress. I checked for videos and answers all over the net, but it’s not available. Quite sure many might like to know how to do that! Thanks, keep it up.

Thank you! Nothing should happen to the design itself. You just won't be able to update the Elementor pro plugin to the latest version and your website could be vulnerable to potential exploits from hackers since Elementor patched vulnerability in most updates.
