Katie thank you for your kind words, we will be back next week..... I think people will love the market next week. Thank you so much Margo for your kindness and support :) it means a lot so glad it inspired you to try more wines x Thank you for watching we will be back next week Anna x x x
I gasped when I saw the chandelier. The drive was wonderful as I'm locked up in the US. Meeting your friends and seeing their generosity and enjoyment at having you with them was so terrific. Thank you so very much.
Elisabeth thank you for watching and for your kind words, you hit the nail on the head there - they are such lovely people, that merit being showcased on youtube (there are lots of wineries around St Emilion). The Murano chandelier was certainly spectaculaire...imagine that the video didn't do it justice!!! Keep safe and i'm sure you'll be out and about soon. Next week we visit a market town and show you a bit more of our families chateau... I hope you will like it. xx
My guess for the number of bottles is 16,257bottles. Yes please show more of the wineries in your area. We are thinking of moving to your area of France! I am excited! I can't wait to meet you both!
Ed and Anna, I am so thrilled that Billy and Ryan recommended your channel. I enjoyed every episode so far and thank you for sharing your home and life with us.
Kevin thank you so much, Billy and Ryan have really helped us get going, infact it was Billy that said we have to vlog. We are really happy you like the content. xx
Love this very interesting .Your filming is very good .Also sound is good .We think maybe around 20 thousand bottles just a quess. Thanks Janine John .ps we live a very different life on a boat on the Grand union canal
Janine / John thank you for your kind words, and great feedback. The number of bottles will be revealed in Episode 5. Your boat life sounds very interesting, hope all is well during these hard times, keep safe xx
🍷 Brilliant loved seeing the wine tasting. Emma looked to be really enjoying herself too ❤️ Anna and Edd love your style of filming and presenting keep up the super work x x x
Thank you Carol, Emma loved Valerie and Mickael as they are such nice people, and this came across in the video, Emma felt at home. We are so glad you like our filming style thank you for your encouragement. xx
I knew zip about wine, now I know a wee bit! It was really fascinating to watch. Thank you for taking the time to video your visit. It was worth your efforts. Also, anything you show will be appreciated. Thanks again, Mary
Thank you for your kind words Mary. Glad you found it interesting..... next week we are at a market town nearby, and taking a closer look at another room in the chateau. Keep watching xx
I loved the episode a lot 🔥 It is so enjoyable to watch people with passion sharing their knowledge. Thank you! Love the bottles storage 🥰 I guess there are around 3100 bottles there, the storage space is much smaller than the one with 14k bottles. Curious to see whether I am close enough 🤓
Thank you so much for watching your kindness and lovely words it means a lot x It was a pleasure to have been at beautiful Chateau Haut Goujon and Valerie & Michael are doing an amazing job !!! Good luck with the guessing ! Episode 5 we will reveal the exact number and winner ❤️❤️❤️
Ernest Hemingway was right - just imagining how much he must have enjoyed drinking vine at his gorgeous Key West cottage during the most incredible sunsets that can be seen. Great vlog, Edd and Ana - I will guess the bottle number 2'720 20x32x4 on one side.
I can just imagine him with a nice glass of wine thinking and writing ! We have been to Key West where he lived it is beautiful :) Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching really appreciate it x The number will be revealed in episode 5 x x
Wonderful visit to Bordeaux. Reminds me of my recent visit to Beaune with lots of tiny cobblestone streets and many wine shops and tasting rooms tucked away and under the street. Some day Bordeaux.
You must visit Bordeaux in person when things get back to normal .... in the mean time please keep watching we have so much to show you about this culturally rich area of France. Xx
Aloha❤️ I very much enjoyed wine tasting with you both❤️ I love that the wine has little or no sulfites ❤️ very fun time! Please post more chateau visits❤️❤️❤️
Chrissy thank you, don't worry all in good time for more chateau visits- we are in Bordeaux!!! right now we have some hidden gems we want to show you in the region, along with a closer look at some more rooms in our families chateau. xx
WoW 🤩 2005 was a fantastic year ! Such a hot summer ☀️❤️ It made an excellent vintage x Ah to be back there ! ❤️ I was working in the vines / harvesting that year in saint Emilion x x
We are really enjoying your vlogs. We have a holiday home in Berbiguieres in the Dordogne and have visited Saint Emilion twice. A stunning area and we love the wine. On our last trip we visited Chateau Le Chatelet and tasted and bought some Grand Cru 2005 and 2007, fantastic wine. We estimate there to be 15,547 bottles!! We would love to see further vlogs focusing on the different Chateaus and wines of your region. We love watching many of the vlogs about Chateaus but you have peeked our interest with your knowledge of the area and wines. Good luck with the chanel.
Hi Bev thanks for your kind words. We will reveal the number in episode 5, we are wine lovers so will be focusing lots on vineyards along with lots of other interesting local content. keep watching xx
Hi Anna and Ed , another lovely video,I really enjoyed it. The winery looked fantastic. My guess is 8000 bottles. Emma was so amusing in the background, such a lovely little girl. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful chateau in the next video. Love from a very cold and wet Ireland xx
🇨🇦❤️Thank you so much for bringing us along, and I especially enjoyed the window shopping. I’m not a wine drinker and I always have inexpensive wine on hand to use in cooking. However, I have a couple of unopened bottles that I’m now tempted to try, thanks to this video. My best friend and her partner were in Paris twice in the past couple of years and my niece in Vancouver has booked a trip to France for October. She’s been to Paris before, but will be bringing her daughter and new husband along this time. (She insured the trip, just in case). I’m guessing there are 50,000 bottles.
Vera pop the cork on one of those bottles!!! Cheers. Lets hope they will make it in October, it will be so nice when we can receive tourists again. Of course Paris is a must but there are so many places to see in France - you could spend a year and not get bored!! Next week we are back to the chateau and visiting a market town nearby...keep watching xx
Great episode. Loved the wine tour. I discovered the stainless tank wine in The San Luis Opisbo California wine region a few years ago and love it. Looking forward to next episode.
The St Emilion Macaroons look very similar to traditional British Macaroons albeit they were 'finished'with an almond to the centre. It was a staple of high quality Bakers and Confectioners when I started in the trade 45 yrs ago. We have lost so much of our local quality food here in UK. Those shops look beautiful. The winery was great... I plant n harvest with the moon too and sing to my garden🥳🤗We all respond to love eh! Thank you for sharing. xxx Wine bottles... my guess 5400...ish🤣
Moira thank you for your comment - really interesting.... luckily we have managed to keep some of our artisan shops here in France..... I think you are going to like our next video. We will reveal the number of bottles in episode 5. Xx
Thank you, we will be back in St Emilion to visit the other chateaux soon but right now if you havent seen it already our new vlog is out - we visit a market town and take a look at the Kitchen back at Chateau Lagorce.xx
Loved watching you from Australia. We have amazing wines in Western Australia from the Margaret River region but no history like in France x your great to listen to and watch x
Sarah you are right we have been very lucky to taste some 100 point Parker’s from your area and they are stunning wines! Would love to visit some day when things calme down. Please keep watching and commenting we are really happy that you like our vlogs. Xx
Thank you for the feedback Denton we will try to get back out in due course, but we have so much to show - some really unbelievable stuff for people that dont know the region. We would love to do a tour of California wineries when things get back to normal. take care xx
Wow, that was a brilliant video. I’m not a big wine drinker but I found that extremely interesting. I do tend to ‘harp on’ about You Tubers with very little content but not this one. More like this and you’re onto a winner.
Angela you don't know how much comments like that mean to us... we are only on episode 3 (our 2nd independant vlog) - to get feedback like yours is amazing thank you so much. Keep watching we will be back next week. xx
Barbara great idea, lets hope its sooner than we all think/ get told!! The great thing with a motor home is that after a tasting no one has to drive!!! I hope you like tonights video xx
I would love to see it, thankyou. Such a beautiful place. I love watching your videos, thankyou so much for making them. You have such a beautiful family and home. I would love to see you doing more renovation work. Have you ever metal detected round the garden? Thankyou. Mel Campbell
Really enjoyed the follow up of visit to St Emilion. You may remember I mentioned the price of wines. My husband was going to buy a bottle of wine for his father's birthday (born 1925), glanced at the price and promptly changed his mind!! Love your videos and looking forward to Ed showing off his culinary skills!
Teresa thank you again for your kind words. Edd loves cooking, next week it is his own recipe (not French) but soon he is going to give a French classic a go too!! Unfortunately anything before the second world war became very rare and hence very expensive.... as the German officers drunk most of it, some was hidden and some was lost!!
Oh Anna. This was so enjoyable. Little Emma steals my heart every time, of course. I would love to see more Chateau. My guess is 7652..lol p.s. I love red wines and playing music to the barrels is superb!
Thank you so much Lee that is so kind of you ❤️ she is a sweetie but she can be so naughty 🤣❤️ 💯 more of the chateau that is coming up next time ! I also loved the fact that there is music playing for the wine 🍷 Thank you so much for watching and your kindness x x
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️ I didn’t always taste like that but when you live here everyone knows a lot about wine so I learnt x x If you come to Bordeaux / Saint Emilion there are wine tastings and school’s too x x
Great! I'm a a wine farmer on a small scale in South Africa and would love to see more visits to Chateaux and especially the wineries and to hear from their winemakers and viticulturists.
Hi there nice to hear from someone in South Africa... we mix our vlog up a little so there will be more wine tastings, if you subscribe you'll be updated on all the vlogs we put out, and you can check the description to see if we are wine tasting.
Mmmmmm ! Lalande Pomerol ! Pour le jeu du nombre de bouteilles... euh... je dirais entre 14 672 et 18 000 😄 ! Merci Anna et Edd pour cette présentation et dégustation ! Je suis impressionnée aussi par les talents de la dame octogénaire !!! 😮 !!! Et tout ça en musique 🎶 🎵🎶 ! À bientôt ! 🌸🌸🌸

Loving your channel. This episode was fun! Hi from Michigan USA!
Hi Tammy thank you so much your encouragement means a lot to us. lets hope you like episode 4 next week. xx

Thank you so much for watching your kindness and lovely words it means a lot x
It was a pleasure to have been at beautiful Chateau Haut Goujon and Valerie & Michael are doing an amazing job !!!
Good luck with the guessing !
Episode 5 we will reveal the exact number and winner ❤️❤️❤️
@@BordeauxLife 🤞☺️
My guess is 6500 bottles. What a lovely tour. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for joining up and sharing your life and experience.

Beautiful episode with so much education and experience. Thank you!
Thank you Jo Really glad you enjoyed the vlog. xx
Yes please. I want to visit France.
Chrissy thank you, don't worry all in good time for more chateau visits- we are in Bordeaux!!! right now we have some hidden gems we want to show you in the region, along with a closer look at some more rooms in our families chateau. xx
Yes, i live in Belgium and go often to Another wine region closerby and buy straight from my favourite chateaux!!! I say 21031 bottles!!
More chateaux? Yes please!
Thank you we will try to fit in another trip to St Emilion soon, but we will always be heading back to the chateau. Keep watching xx
@@BordeauxLife 🙂👍
I was in St Emilion in the summer of 2005 and it was majestic! We did a wine tasting in a local shop and had a great afternoon.
WoW 🤩 2005 was a fantastic year ! Such a hot summer ☀️❤️
It made an excellent vintage x
Ah to be back there ! ❤️
I was working in the vines / harvesting that year in saint Emilion x x
👏🏻 Love this! I can’t even get hold of these wonderful wines in Sweden but I will definitely try. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you.... fingers crossed you can find some nice Bordeaux wine in Sweden.Next week we are off to a market town nearby and back to the chateau. xx
Malbec ! My favourite !
Lovely to watch more like this please
Thank you so much Christine ❤️ x x x
More coming soon 🥰❤️❤️❤️
Hi Anna and Ed , another lovely video,I really enjoyed it. The winery looked fantastic. My guess is 8000 bottles. Emma was so amusing in the background, such a lovely little girl. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful chateau in the next video. Love from a very cold and wet Ireland xx
Caroline thank you so much. The weather hasn’t been great here too!! We will reveal the number of bottles in episode 5. Keep watching xx
Thank you Sally, next week we visit a market town and are back at the chateau too xx
Xx
Yes, the chateau would be a great idea for a video
Xx
The shops are beautiful.
I love your videos. Such variety!!!
Debbie lets hope we can keep you all entertained. xx
Yes please show some more wine chateaus. Been to a few wine growers in California but your area looks so cool.
Keep watching we will be back next week. xx
I enjoyed this video very much, so informative. Can't wait to return to France in our motorhome, & visit the Bordeaux region again
Barbara great idea, lets hope its sooner than we all think/ get told!! The great thing with a motor home is that after a tasting no one has to drive!!! I hope you like tonights video xx
Another great video!!
That is amazing about the music. Wow
Betty it is amazing, it wasn’t too loud / overwhelming but just a general buzz in the background.
I would love to see more.
Thank you so much for watching Deborah ❤️ we will be back at this same chateau a bit later on with more to show you all x x x
Blessings! Thanks for the tour! Beautiful! I think! 22,000. .
Thank you. We will be revealing the number of bottles in episode 5. Keep watching xx
Oh Anna. This was so enjoyable. Little Emma steals my heart every time, of course. I would love to see more Chateau. My guess is 7652..lol p.s. I love red wines and playing music to the barrels is superb!
Thank you so much Lee that is so kind of you ❤️ she is a sweetie but she can be so naughty 🤣❤️
💯 more of the chateau that is coming up next time !
I also loved the fact that there is music playing for the wine 🍷
Thank you so much for watching and your kindness x x
Yes I want to see Some chateaux please. Just watching you tasting wine and wondering “I wish I knew how to taste like this”. 😍👏🏼
Thank you so much for watching and your kind words really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️
I didn’t always taste like that but when you live here everyone knows a lot about wine so I learnt x x
If you come to Bordeaux / Saint Emilion there are wine tastings and school’s too x x
Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing 🍷
Thank you Netty so glad you enjoyed it... tune in next week for a market video and back to the chateau rooms. xx
