- We’ve been Jessie Reyez fans for a while now. The R&B singer with the fierce attitude and addictive confidence has risen through Vevo’s ranks during the past few years. My favorite thing about these lyrics is that she’s not holding back from being melodramatic, and that is so fantastic here because that’s what it feels like and that’s what you think when you go through this. It’s not rational thoughts, it’s just falling apart.

It’s incredible how she can make you feel her emotions, however I think she thinks a lot more on her vocals than it appears. Her range is amazing and her vocal control, incredible... she uses her ‘sound’ in an incredibly intelligent way. She’s an amazing artist who makes it look easier than it truly is 😅

She really hit the nail on this one, the same exact feelings. I got chills the first time I heard it. I had a huge fight with someone I gave my heart to, and that feeling of "I deserve better!". And then I turned on my music, and this song started playing. It was like she took exactly how I was feeling in that moment, and made a beautiful piece. When I got home from work that night, while in the shower. It came on again, and while singing. The tears came rolling, she did that. I felt that to my core "Kiss me im the monster that you made me"
