CBS panicked, because the ratings for "CO-ED FEVER" [at 10:30pm(et)] didn't match the one "Rocky" got (they lost a quarter of that audience). The series was scheduled to premiere at 8:30pm on Monday, February 19th- but the network pulled the plug after the "preview" episode [five more episodes were taped, but never telecast].
all the 1976 masterpiece films aired on tv in 1979: Abc aired Taxi Driver and The bad news bears, Cbs aired Rocky and Marathon Man and Nbc aired St. Ives.
I feel women have the right to work many different types of jobs but your right. I saw an interview from the producer I think it was of the movie, Trading Places , and was interviewed by Alex Jones before this guy died shortly after from cancer I think it was. Anyway, he admitted he befriended a Rockefeller and since the Rockefellers funded the women's movement , he asked him what he thought it was all about ? He answered , " YOU know, for women to have rights and be equal and he responded, " Your an idiot . Our family funded it " and went on to say that the real purpose was to divide families , get double the income taxes in revenue , and to get children into the government schools at a younger age.
I also hope y'all will reply to this the very first VCR/DVD player I had was a Sylvania. Even though at the time of these commercials DVD hadn't been invented yet and there was no home video yet
I hope y'all will reply to this I liked that Holiday Inn commercial and I have a plate with that Holiday Inn logo on it...also this was 1 day before my mother turned 40
They were essentially playing a married couple. James Garner wasn't really a private investigator either. But yes, she famously had a T-shirt made that said "I AM NOT JAMES GARNER'S WIFE!"
Ha, nothing wrong with some beer but was a great idea by Rocky NOT to be smashed before fighting Apollo, Clubber Lane, the Russian, or anyone else ,haha !!!
A promo for _'Co-Ed Fever'_ coming up next. Little did we know the series only aired 1 episode... and that was the night it aired!!!
It went from 'We're coming on' to 'We're going out' !
