I actually started to read a book called "girls survive, Ruth and the night of the broken glass a World War II survival story" it's really good so far, it's a fictional character in a real story it's when the nazis invaded I love it and this book remined me of it really good!

The night of broken glass is referred to as Kristallnacht or crystal night. It refers to the broken glass that littered the streets after the NAZI destroyed many Jewish owned businesses in Germany.
