Just received my beginners fly tying kit today, but it is fresh water. I started fly fishing last year. Bought a salt water rod that came with some flies. Plan on learning to tie those too. Great video Old Chief
A ton of great feedback has come back into the shop with this pattern. Mike Jr (me) I fish it all the time with tons of success. It's easy to throw for a larger pattern.
Nice Fly I sometimes glue a short piece of stiff mono on the back of the fly then tie in it you will seldom loose a eye

I use a pair of nail clippers for cutting wire brushes, works really good and gets a close cut !

Very nice tutorial, i was checking out the material kit, and im just curious how many flies i could get out of the kit?
You can tie all 12 hooks that come with the kit. After that, you will probably need more hooks/brushes.
