Pretty strange is, when I control right part and accompaniment's chords on different channels, Accordion is the right setting. "Standard" means to hook a keyboard with no split. I have to figure out, how to recall registrations via MIDI, that the SD 40 can follow my Yamaha keyboard. At the moment I use the SD 40 as kind of "perfect drum machine" to play along with Yamaha styles, plus Ketron's accomaniment.

Which MIDI input are you using on your SD40? Do you want to control the arranger section of the SD40 from the Yamaha or just play voices from the SD?
Can you do a demo on how to hook up the SD40 to a 61 note keyboard controller?
