legion king is scarier than monkey king, cause when you think he is dead , he calls an ambulance on 1 hp but not for him
its actually very easy to beat monkey spammers.when he climbs on his staff, there's a blind spot where you will be safe. stand in a place not too far away from him, and not directly under him either....just maintain this moderate distance and stand in that one place. when he uses ascension attack he wont be able to hit you and you can easily grab him unless he cancels ascension. works ALL of the time and ive beaten maxed dojo level 13 mk spammers without much effort.
MK is already an annoying character. On top of spammers and campers give headache

The reason he keeps spamming and u got damage is coz u dnt knw how to properly dodge the Jingu strikes.. Learn how to dodge and avoid it.. And also learn to jumb and hit at the proper timing.. Practice more.. Then u can kick ass the spammers

I often use the Monkey King technique mainly against campers, they just back up and attack from a distance. It doesn't make the game as fun as it could be but it's not always the case, it's a shame. But luckily I manage to counter Jingu's technique
I keep rolling towards them the moment the monkey King gets onto the staff and there's actually a blind spot when the staff move cannot hit you when you roll close enough.... Worked out well for me.... Once you break this barrier the camper's confidence would go miles down and it probably would be an easy win

it's not so complicated, instead of jumping on him (which can be risky) or trying to roll away (which might just not work sometimes) you can simply counter his attack if he tries using it, if he tries to attack just use an attack that hits the upper part of the screen and are relatively fast (usually up attacks) and it will most of the time hit them and knock them out of ascension.
