Jeremy, looks like the guy who sold you the new muffler did what you should do with your old one - throw it in a fire, literally. Don't let it get so hot that it starts to deform or anything just hot enough to burn up anything (ie mouse nests etc) inside. Nothing to lose.

Sooooo jealous. I’ve gotten about 1.5 weeks of riding around here in the last 3 years! We just don’t get snow anymore. Nothing on the ground and nothing in the foreseeable future. Enjoy it for us my friend

I just cleaned my carbs on my sled got a good snow fall up here in Alberta I Watching your video make me want to head out n ride every time good vid bud
i just spent 200 dollars on a new brake caliper and brake line and brake fluid. put it all together by my self no previous training except for other projects. Suppose to be getting 16inches of snow here in MN on the 26 and 27. Good ole' Christmas blizzard! I'm so excited to see if this sled will work. We brought this same sled into an arctic cat dealership to have it fixed along with the carbs and they only touched the carbs, they didn't even take a wrench to the caliper so that was easily 500$ wasted right there

Knew you'd like the IQ. I've always rode Polaris from Indy bodies to IQ and pro-R chassis'. Owned a Formula 3 ski-doo once the thing was a snowplow; you only see the skies on hard pack.
Sell the pack and upgrade to a pro-R or axys 800 you'll never drive a ski-bomb again ;). Best suspension for aggressive riding my friend.

I just replaced my spark plug caps/boots and got massive gains across all ranges. Does a extra 800-1000 rpm. Also the exhaust smells less gasy.
You would also be amazed how much difference a new belt can make or just cleaning your current one with soap and water (clean a new one also). Also wipe both clutches well with a clean cloth. Don't use cleaning agents in your clutches tho. Brake dust and other crap builds up on those parts and robs power big time.

What was wrong with the original muffler that you were using? It looked like it was in better condition than the one you bought online. You need a new muller for that newly purchased MXZ 700. Sounds great but it's way too loud for the vlogs. 80's Rock & Metal & 90's Metal too for music. Where do you get your remixes from?

Doode, buy a spring puller. They're like $5 and makes putting the exhaust springs on and taking them off SO much easier. And that rattle in the new muffler is probably a piece of broken baffling or could be a piece of ring or piston from a PO that might have blew up their sled.
p.s. It sounds better now after the carb clean.

Jerermy just to let you know that 700 mxz you always had before the new mxz 700 has 4 inch risers on it they come stock with risers take the bar pad off the bars and it has 4 inch ris

I use a short rope to set the exhaust springs. So much easier than any tool.

Dude you gotta make a spring puller haha just take a large flathead screwdriver and with a cutting wheel on an angle grinder cut a slit from the side going towards the tip to make a notch just enough to pull on the spring. It works great! Nice videos! I do so much of the same stuff but you really gotta get a cat for you're next sled a sno pro 5 or 600 would be awesome for what you do!
Vice grips are useful to put the springs on
Just an idea but when I store my sleds or if I k kw they are gonna sit for a decent amount of time I pit steel wool in the outlet of my exhaust to prevent animals from building a nest in the exhaust

Also....if you cut an angled notch in a flathead you can put the spring in the notch and pull up to stretch the spring :)
Sweet! Your new Castle riding gear looks better when you're on the IQ for videos anyway. I listen to all types of music but prefer to hear you bs as you work or ride. The music in intro and outro is cool tho.
Hey Jeremy I'm not trying to tell you how to do your thing, but I would have drilled a like a half inch hole in the bottom and clear everything out then welded I little patch over it. Anyway great vids
