I wonder if billy batson would’ve been affected by mordreds spell. Like if he transformed into captain marvel would he be immediately be transported out of the world? Or would it not work since he’s still a child mentally?
There was actually an episode of Young Justice and a spell was cast in two different worlds its confusing as hell, but one world all of the adults are eliminated and in the other all the kids dissappear, but with Billy's ability to turn into an adult, he uses it to communicate with both The Justice League and the Young Justice team. Like I said, confusing as hell

It doesn't solve the problem with a bunch of unattended kids being surrounded by MORE unattended kids and the kids don't have to believe all these other kids are their parents. More than that, Morgan has a power limit. It was difficult reverting these 4, reverting a few billions is impossible! And also these kids are not immortal, once they get to a certain age/ height, they transport to the adult realm as that's part of the spell.
One notable thing is that green lantern should actually be more powerful as a kid, since the ring is limited to how good your imagination is.
