Since Leanne came onto the scene, she has told Nic that her feelings for women weren’t real and it was just a phase. What goes around comes around Leanne. Not saying that Nic is handling this the right way but her hurt is very real and Leanne has to be held and hold herself accountable for what she’s done.
I rewatched this a couple of times and realized I’d misread Ros when she said to Leanne that she understood that Nic comes first. There’s an insecurity about it. I also realized that Ros has been the one driving things and threatening to back away more than once. She’s insecure.....recently divorced. She’s been busy trying to motivate Leanne into having the nerve to do this. Perhaps, now it’s time to see (deal with) some of Ros’ baggage. I hope we have a sweet reconciliation scene where they work that out.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of what make Rosalyn tick. I think they are doing some interesting things with the ways Nic and Maeve are like and different from their mothers and they way their mothers drive them crazy and there's more to see on the Maeve and Rosalyn side.
@@nicolezara5327 The contrast is a nice addition. I hope we don’t have to wait weeks to find out. It bothers me that they brought things to a head so quickly. I’m trying not to be paranoid, though. I am enjoying this ship more than I have any in a very long time. I would hate to see it end quickly or go mostly off screen too soon. Though, Leanne’s heartbreak and lack of resolution is almost harder to take that whatever resolution they throw at us. On a side note, There are so many negative comments on FB and IG. That’s been depressing. So many people just don’t understand what this kind of representation means. My wife is 60 (I’m 46), and we get so tired of seeing nothing but twenty-something lesbian couples on TV while homophobes complain about too many LGBTQ people on TV. So frustrating.
Shortland Street plots do tend to move very fast - we actually got quite a lot of build up for Nicole and Maeve, comparatively. I think all we can do is enjoy it all while we have it. It is really nice to see an older couple.
Would love to see more of this pairing continuing in a positive light.... please!!
Who are you saying please to?
Great actresses! Love is love ❤️

I only just started watching this show here on youtube because of the lesbian relationships, but maybe it's internalized homophobia?
The way LeeAnn talks to Theo about no maeve pursuing..I saw a soft mother over there.
Love can softening heart, aye?
Que lindo este episódio mostra que o amor não tem idade para amar o importante é amar e viver bem sem preconceito simplesmente Amar.
What the hick Rosalyn! Aww Leanne wasn't expecting that ☹️ I wasn't either.
