New voice for Viper sucks so hard... The VA does a good job at Rosanna but her Viper really sucks too dam hard. I hope a lot of people will point that out in the next survey...
@@chriswacker2314 I definitely will be pointing it out along with my disappointment with the gacha skin for viper I thought shift up had figured it out by now we are playing Nikke to enjoy the view but for some reason had vipers hair cover 90% of the back of her 60$ skin definitely won't be buying
Yeah no, I tried giving it a chance, but I just don't like it. What baffles me, is that Samantha can give an amazing sultry voice for Rosanna. But here, it's not like she's not even trying with Viper. And the fact that they swapped out all of Amalee's lines for Samantha both in quotes and story just bothers me.
That's what I'm saying, and the VA that's voicing her also voices Rosanna so It's not that she doesn't have the range to match the original as best she can. I'm willing to bet that the voice over director gave her instructions to emulate the Korean and Japanese voices to try and keep all three versions similar. If that's the case, then it was a big mistake imho.

This is massively disappointing to me :( i was hyped for vipers treasure and her being in this event but now i really am not having fun her new voice is so different its sucking me out of the story. After playing for nearly a year with the character its really hard to accept such a drastic change in tone and voice direction. No hate to the VA i love her as rosanna but whatever they coached her to do for viper just isnt it. Definitely a big bummer for the summer event :(
I like to think that because of her redemption, she's now more light-hearted and open now, leading to the voice change. Honestly, her new voice just makes me want to hug her. 😊
Maybe a toggle to the original voice can be added later. why fumble with a soundalike. When She sounds better as Rosanna She could've used that Rosanna voice for this version with her tone maybe, rather than this high-ish pitch voice, the type of voice that people say "i don't like EN dubs" "sounds like she runs out of breath" voice. Now I'm curious how she'll sound in the archived main story chapters.

I don't like vipers new voice lines either, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the voice actors decision.

This voice doesnt fit at all. It sounds like VA is half asleep and whispering. Definitely not a good fit for Viper as a character.
