What's your preferred method to control your audio on linux, do you like a cli tool, a TUI interface like Pulsemixer or maybe you just like using a GUI interface let me know down below.
PulseEffects is the best for tweaking pulse audio, when properly configured, makes the audio so much better, if you have a good headphone use that or it will just be a waste of money
I like pulsemixer, but my go to program is still pavucontrol. I don't know why it takes so long to start for you (does this problem still exist for you?), but it works fine for me. I kind of like a mouse-GUI more for audio mixing even though I don't like using my mouse normally.
Hello I am very new to linux and just wondering how to change audio bitrate after having installed pulseaudio volumer control. just wanted to to be able to change bitrate fron 48khz to 192 hz 24 bit on dac and audio mixer for my condenser mic. what would be better alternatives that would allow me to do that with ease ?(prefer using GUI) any and all recommendations would be helpful.

Hi! pulsemixer is a regular script and you can put it on a folder in the PATH. In linux the audio system is alsa - pulse clones are on top of the alsa

Haven't played around with PulseEffects yet, need to do that
Thank you for sharing this

There are random applications that take forever to load for me, a lot of the Vim GUI applications do the same thing.

Nice program. I can't get either pamix or pulsemixer to work with as a hotkey for some reason.
Are you still using lastpass?
Yep, it's really convenient
@@BrodieRobertson So is windows. Have you ever tried password-store?
Hey, try taskwarrior which is waay more powerful than calcurses
I wonder why pamixer even exists
The same reason any project does, someone felt like making it
