  • Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth comprehensive review of the second generation Dodge Charger SRT-8. This example we have here is a 2013 model.
    MSRP pricing for a 2014 Charger SRT-8, before options, begins at:
    $44,385
    During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
    FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of TH-cam!

    I love these older models of the chargers. One of my older teammates owns a charger v8 from 2014 and he let me go for a ridealong and I couldn't have been happier. The sound from the engine made my day and put a big smile on my face

    It's always interesting going back and looking at the previous generations and seeing the differences with the new design. The 2015 redesign was huge and substantial. It got me into the Dodge showroom and now have owned 2 different challengers.

    Just picked up a 2014 silver billet SRT8 in Wisconsin. So hard to find. Got lucky. The car fucking rocks! RT is nice, but if ya wanna really be able to do what YOU KNOW YOU WANNA do in this car, if you can afford it, don't inch your way into this vehicle......spend the time/money and get the SRT8. You don't need a hellcat, but the slightly lower model, will, trust me, deliver. 470hp and 470 lb/ft of torque, well, take a drive. And, for me, the 2015 body style....cannot be beat! I love the hard angles and aggressive front end. She is big, beautiful, predictable, and gets a lot of looks. Packed full of technology, but more important to me, she fucking is powerful...period. Floor it on a straight line, and feel yourself get sucked back into the seat and have smile on your face. Um, this is pure muscle. It's what you wanted the car for, and it's what it delivers...………………..period! Oh, and you may want to get a radar detector....ask a bit of prayer from the angels that you don't get caught from the police when you will, and trust me, you WILL, want to hit that luscious 470HP and 470LB/FT of torgue. Um, grinning still!

    Hands down my favorite iteration of the Dodge Charger. So much so, I had to buy one for myself. Most dependable, and enjoyable car that I've ever driven. If you're on the fence between and RT or SRT in these models years, spend the extra $12k, you won't regret it.

    The one thing I love is how everyone is complaining about how bad the interior is, hate to tell you, you need to be in an upper model, not a SXT. I'm looking at buying a SRT and I know that the interior quality is good, also this is the CLEANEST interior design to date if you look at American cars.

    We have a 2013 Charger RT/AWD. Best snow car I've ever owned. Liked it so much we picked up a 2014 Charger RT 100th Anniversary edition. It only has rear wheel drive, but when you push the Sport Mode button on the screen, it's a blast to smoke the tires. It's fun to have one Charger for winter and one for spring and summer.

    3:00 Did Dodge change the badging on the back for the 2014 SRT8? Because I'm looking online for one, and all of them just have SRT on the back instead of SRT8 like the 2013 model does... They do say SRT8 on the dash inside though, so I'm assuming Dodge really did change the badge for the 2014 SRT8.

    • @WhaHappinProduction1
      @WhaHappinProduction1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Constantinos Salpadimos I believe the 2014 was the last year to feature the full "SRT8" badge with the number. (Don't take my word for it tho) I do remember a good amount of chargers also carrying the current "SRT" badge. Either way both very nice.

    • @WhaHappinProduction1
      @WhaHappinProduction1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Constantinos Salpadimos take that back I think 2013 was the last year they did. I'm seeing a lot of 2014 chargers on google with just "SRT"

    • @constantinosgreek12
      @constantinosgreek12 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Speed Demon That's what I mean, I did the same and all of them have just SRT on the back instead of with the 8 like the older models do. Seems like Dodge changed the badge for the 2014 model SRT8. Such a shame, I really preferred the older badge they used that said SRT8.

      Yes. The 5G-Tronic was designed in 1992. Only reason they have them in the SRT Chargers/Challenger's is because Chrysler is a fucking cheapskate. The 7G-Tronic which is much better came out in 2003. Not to mention the 9G-Tronic came out in 2013.
