I got it on sale as well and while riding with no spring hardness definitely suited the default controls, it left much to be desired once I started Career mode
I still think the road bumps in Ride 4 feel far more realistic than in Ride 5. Then again, nothing tops the physics and handling model of Ride 4's initial release.

Milestone has created tons of dirt bike games as we all know. I REALLY wish they would add those types of mechanics and let you slide and drift the super motos. I also miss actual super moto tracks with dirt and jumps like in previous ride games.

How the Ride franchise hasn’t capitalised on an untapped market by creating an open world universe like Forza did with their Horizon series is beyond me. Why hasn’t anyone done this yet, it feels like such a nobrainer
Ride 2 was my favourite I believe they got the balance of arcade and simulation perfect, now it's full on simulation, I've only played up to 4 but it's a great franchise imo
I wanted to buy a new Bike game. I was getting ride 4 because you get all dlc for about 20€ instead of buying Ride 5 wich is basicly the same with a slightly better graphic for 60€.

Ride 5 has great sound design and graphics as well as some decent gameplay improvements but the career mode structure in ride 4 was loads better! Also, they had a ton of bike classes.
I haven't played RIDE 2 unfortunately. But I just select the non race track tracks and set the laps to as much as possible and turn off opponents to freeroam.
Hey man. So there isn't actually freeroam. You have to set it up your self to ride alone. What I do is I choose single race. Choose the track , then go to race settings and change the laps to as much as possible, then change opponents to only 1 , then turn off your HUD . Then you can pretty much ride the track as much as your want . The best maps are under Europe (southern 100 , North west, and ulster ). Hope this helps man 🙏
Without a doubt man it’s the best it handles really well ride 4 to me was too much rider movement like way too much you don’t actually need to hang off as far as the camera makes it look maybe on some corners but not all them . I have a couple of bikes and had the knee down on them and it’s nowhere near the way ride 4 makes it look lol plus ride 2 I’ve some decent times on leaderboards on nordshleife both games need to relax a bit on the track limits I mean if you so much as touch the white line its invalid which is a pain in the hole on a 7min lap track 😂
