You should go to Hillsborough community college. I built it back in 1990. It was built to withstand 200mph winds. I installed all the structural steel and box headers that have braces welded to "I" beams, every 4ft. All the 16gage studs were welded into 16gage track and welded and braced from floor to floor. Plus a lot more. It would take hours to describe.
Please remember that when hurricane hits, no one will respond and emergency services will only come out after the winds safely die down. Also have a phone charged and do not uselessly scroll as news reports run a lot of commercials and this will burn up your phone charge. Also, try text messaging if you are having trouble calling people as text messages will go thru easier than phone calls.

Yesterday she went everywhere and nobody has these items and Amazon is doing no deliveries there until the end of the week I'm in Montana and a very concerned mom and grandma

I would not downplay flooding for Tampa so much. It will be hitting the coast with the incoming tide. I understanding the rotation being opposite if it moves south, but you will still have enough rotation to push the bay water north/north west.

Clermont will probably be north of the eye and damage is always less if you are north of it. In 2004 in Hurricane Charley when it went thru Orlando like it is going to do this time Clermont did OK. You will get less wind if the eye is south of you. If the eye goes over Clermont, it would be worse. It all depends where that eye and eyewall goes.
I think the winds are going to be higher than the 50s. When Hurricane Charley hit Orlando in 2004 it was a 145 mph hurricane, when it got to Orlando it was 110 mph. We had high winds, hurricane force winds in the right eyewall, we had rain and we did have a few tornadoes. It all depends where that eye and eyewall goes. If you are in the eyewall, it is going to be rough. Winds were howling in the right eyewall that went over Kissimmee, lots of trees down, tree branches down.
