Good video and keep up the good work . Great to see a practical approach to restoring a classic Ford that is getting used - thanks for mentioning the parts suppliers.
It's been a fun but also pretty frustrating project but worth it.!! I think about my grandpa a lot. He took my brother and I for wagon rides with that tractor. It's the only tractor he ever bought brand new in 1960. 63 years ago!! 🙂 Thanks Gary.
Question, ive been doing some research on these old ford tractors, we’ve always been a farm all family but my grandfather on my mothers side had an 801 power master, before he passed a few years ago he had to sell it and I would like to buy and restore one for myself but im left confused bc when these tractors came out they were labeled 841-851-861 ect… and so many people are calling the 801 an 841 or 851 and 861 ect… like I said never had experience with fords so I just don’t understand the whole premise behind it or why any input would be appreciated thanks
@cosmo7816 I just typed it in on Google what I needed the power steering pump for and different options came up. It works okay but not as good as the other one. Steiner Tractor parts has a pump that I'm assuming would be better but it cost around $400.00 vs 120. 🤷♂️
According to my research it's a 801 series tractor and not all of them say the exact model number on the hood. The exact model number is on the block. Just how some of them were I guess. 🙃🤷♂️
Stay with the restoration ! I promise you that it will be worth it ! Thank you for sharing your work !
I have the exact same tractor I'm in the middle of mounting a ford backhoe and matching loader, these are really fun to tinker with. Ty for the video
Great job. Congratulations ❤️
