I must say: This brought tears to my eyes. Between Leigh Sales' farewell and this song, plus the ABC 90 rendition of "We are Australian", I was an emotional, tearing up wreck. There are so many extraordinary Australians and what moves me beyond any fathomable emotion is that I truly believe in my heart that Australia is moving forward as a more inclusive society, acknowledging the grievances of our Indigenous people, while so many countries are sadly regressing. God Bless Australia now and forever!!!
This was an amazing finale. Is it possible to see a performance really highlighting the work of Josephine Woods -she absolutely SHONE and I would love to hear more of her rendition in Auslan

Very nicely done, but no John Farnham and no bagpipes? I recognised only two of the singers, Casey and Kate. Where are the other iconic Aussie performers? Kylie and Danni Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy, Delta Goodrem?
