- Butch Walker might be best known for producing tracks for the likes of Fall Out Boy, Keith Urban, Avril Lavigne and Weezer, but he also boasts a robust solo career. In this edition of Fender's Studio Sessions, Walker picks up a Telecaster that he created himself through the American Design Experience and performs the song "Let It Go Where It's Supposed To," which comes off his 2013 EP, "Peachtree Battle."

That guitar tone is glorious.
What a singer and player.. TELE rules big time !
Straight up amazing he does it all! it sounds great! Touching song for his dad. I share this with my Father he loved it! By far my favorite singer song writer in the last 20 years!
August is Falling brought me here
That rig sounds fantastic.
This and Vintage Trouble were both excellent!
Butch is the MAN.
a great guitar and a very talented performer-the way it should be
Beautiful version, Butch. Stoked I get to see you live!!!
this song feels so good!!!
Really great song and great performance!
Hey Butch your voice is awasome and unique. Reminds me when you scream it out, just a little bit same like Jimmy Stadt from Polar Bear Club Band I think.

"Butch Walker might be best known for producing tracks for the likes of Fall Out Boy, Keith Urban, Avril Lavigne and Weezer..." Jesus christ, talk about a waste of talent. Glad he's getting some attention as a solo artist now.
What overdrive use on this song? any have and idea?
+baimo85 Sounds like a basic overdrive with the gain not too high and a little slapback-delay
To me it just sounds like a cranked Princeton with a little slap back delay. That´s all, I think. Nice tone!
Anyone knows what tunning use in this song? It is a Open E?
Open G with a capo on 2
This is FYI cling dope. Butch using an open tuning?
Did Apollo himself make that Tele? Holy shit...
instantly forgettable ...... lyrics ive heard a thousand times
So wrong....I'd love to see you try and write/play/sing this ;)
Chorus is too convoluted, that's why. Lyrics can be whatever you want, he could've sang nah nah nahnah nah for three minutes if the chorus is catchy you pretty much have a hit these days.
That being said I still like this alot, its very much my kind of music.
Sugarwolf listen to summer of 89 by him.. he basically does sing nah nah nahnah
well considering he's been a producer and lyricist on countless chart topping albums that would be why
