For context the story is mostly true and the boss is a giant d*uchebag even though she never admitted the reason why she fired her employee. The employee got operated in August 2011 and got complications from the operation (abdominal pain and digestive problems requiring frequent bathroom breaks and an inability to comfortably lift heavy objects). Yet the boss asked her to come back to work in september, ignored the doctor's order for not lifting heavy objects, required her employee to get permission to go to the bathroom and didn't provide accomodation for her medical issues.
By the way, the employee did give her kidney but not to her boss (they weren't compatible) but she did it to give her boss a higher place on the organ donor list.
