I think its not Hideki on the drummer because that hair that style more like Yuya. Nah who cares if its Hideki or Yuya, they both are Babymetal drummers
Eva it’s 100% hideki even though you can just by his face alone and his gloves his hair is also short and curly unlike yuya who has long hair and also yuya usually has glasses on

Strange coincidence? Takayoshi Ohmura's personal symbol which is prominently displayed here is (just like) the stylized lily symbol that has been used for hundreds of years in the western world as a symbol of purity -- and this little festival or whatever has "Pure" as part of its name...

Was so excited to see Takayoshi and Hideki this tour...then I found out I would get Kami Band West instead. :( What a bummer! Hope they're on for next US tour.

@@Mr001Ali Me too? With a quick look it seems all the OG Kami band (Boh takayoshi hideki) all are still active members, even on twitter..but the Galactic empire lads still seem active?!?! No disrespect to Chris, Clint, Cj, or Anthony---but come on, replacing BOH with a guitarist is unsettling,,,my problem ,, but the OG Kami band with Leda (respect to little God..so many beautiful moments between Takayohi and Mikio ) is the real band -where the real magic happens. imho
@@peterxblack Agreed. The original kami band is one of the most essential parts of Babymetal tbh. Let's hope they'll make an triumph return.

I’m here after watching BABYMETAL. Amuse deleted both Red Night and Black Night Tokyo Dome livestream.. that’s why many fans are disappointed because some didn’t catch it live.

can anyone teach me takayoshis picking technique? he has lots of videos explaining but i still cant understand if he moves his fingers while doing super fast tremolo or its just the medium tempo speed that he uses tremolo picking

Tremolo picking is different technique, using wrist and forearm movement.
Takayoshi's technique is more like circular picking. You have to use smaller muscles for it.
With open palm and relaxed hand, bend your index finger and flick it fast back and forth. Then ad pick and use thumb to support the pick to stay in place. Use wrist movement only to play accents.
Check videos about circular picking for better explanation and visual cues :)
@@tuubitus thank you! so the picking even in high speeds is all about the index finger and thumb, while the wrist just moves on the accents, depending which ones the song has, ok. i actually thought it was the reserve: the fingers just moved to give the accents while the wrist ddi the normal picking technique. it does seem like it while watching takayoshi playing so fast. thank you for clarifying me!
@@nunofrg You are wellcome. Takayoshi's picking especially in high speed is done with fingers, even his accents in very high speed comes mostly from fingers, there is just no time to activate bigger muscles. Check end of this video: th-cam.com/video/uGbMEPhl7rg/w-d-xo.html
there is almost no movement in wrist, when he plays fast accented patterns, but he just squeezes pick harder with his fingers and ads little bit of wrist to make accents.
Faster you go, more efficient it is to use smaller muscles. With slower speeds and for example when playing rhythm there is more wrist movement and bigger/more relaxed hand movement in general. So his technique (muscle activation) varies depending on the phrase (speed) he has to play.
