Beautiful location. I had no idea where the film was shot, I was just chillin' on the color of the water and the magic of cliff. The whole story of the boat and the purpose really made this even better.
Was planning a trip to Lions Head from Cleveland that was supposed to happen in June, but then 2020 happened. This just makes the heartache worse from missing that trip. 💜
I'd das drive the boat as you're not exactly sailing it 🤣 I know where I wanna go for my next Holiday, what time of year has usually the best conditions for climbing there?
@@DDNguyen93 wont July and August be a bit warm? I enjoy a bit cooler weather to climb 10-15°C and if there is Sun in the afternoon dont want it roasting me as I climb.
@@davidsimpson3885 If thats your jam then id say september. Maybe early October. Personally I like climbing in the shade with about 20c. So I would get to the crag early and climb until early afternoon so July/Aug works for me. As you have seen in the video the wall isnt exactly flat, so certain walls/routes stay in the shade until late afternoon.
Too bad the elitist local climbers chopped all the bolts on an easy to moderate climbs and stopped any access for people who can’t climb 5.12+ to climb there. Very discouraging
What a wholesome film! Made my day, Mikes are awesome!
"You're spare parts aren't ya bud?"
Always love seeing Canadian culture on display

I miss this beautiful place. Nothing like it.
Love this film, it's so great to see it pop up on EpicTV!! Big thank you to the the Mikes for all their hard work!
Shoutout to the Bad Beta crew! The Mikes are super funny on the podcast (episodes 9 and 10)
Such a great film! Funny and warm. Definitely a place worth saving for the guys who route set and for future climbers.
Such an amazing short film - great climbing, great attitude, and most importantly great nautical skills
😂

Do it!! It’s an awesome cliff in an amazing small town, bugs aren’t horrible, and gets afternoon sun!
I'd say July and Aug are the best times to climb there.

It’s all choss and the season’s short. You wouldn’t like it if you came 😝
@@shawntronclimbing sounds better than Norway.
This could easily have been longer.
Why you dont jump in an save the Anker? To deep? 😅
cliffs are not that acessible in the east. It should be a right.
Those pants
Juxtaposition? Climbers living in a sailing Marina world with a climbing cliff as part of the view.

I bet they kept the bolts on the ones they cannot trad...

Nope
Not true at all. There are still plenty of moderate routes there. Go look at the guide book.
Who would cut the bolts? I climbed there early on and loved it. Did they fess up? Pretty selfish if you ask me.
Everyone has to start somewhere.
