- July 28th 2011, a very sad day - staff old and new come together to salute a "little airline and airport that could - and did" for over 40 years in modern times and for a century since the first plane took off. Plymouth Airport, Roborough Airfield, Plymouth City Airport, home of what was once Bill Bryce`s Brymon Airways, the father of STOL, the creator of London City Airport is now home to the birds, clouds and "quiet skies" - but maybe there will be flight again of a Phoenix can rise........now the final flypast is done
Anyone remember a stunning looking girl who used to work on the check in desk , called Mandy.
Very Sad.
They are actually trying to open it back up again by 2018! Sad to see AirSouthwest go.
Who did the very first interview here?? I thing they could do with a little bit of practice! Far, far too close to the guys face and the going from side to side all the way through it is freaky.
