(Galileo and Bacon). It would be a bit odd then if the scientific method was inconsistent with belief in miracles. It seems like it would be god's fault in this circumstance. I was referring to other religions. Why does god allow these lies to propagate, knowing that they muddy the waters? If I "correctly" identify that Islam and Judaism are false, why wouldn't I connect the dots and also conclude that Christianity is false too?

Created and evolved definitely are mutually exclusive. By the way, there is a multitude of brilliant experts in the field who question or outright disbelieve evolution. They are sued, censored, bullied, fired, etc. so that you don’t even know they exist.
