@@CrashCitySxS I got a 2013 Polaris RZR 900 Walker Evans edition , in excellent condition , with lots of extras . P.S. Did you ever go back and grab the hat ?
Thank you! We had those plastics in a corner of the shop and only had a couple rides on them so not too terribly hard to get it clean. In between the frame and skid plate was crazy dirty. Sold that thing in less than 24 hours. Gone to a good home. Thanks for watching. Hopefully this video can help people looking at buying used units!
TOUGH QUESTION!! I knew a guy that had 11,xxx miles on a 800 even had original belt I know a guy that I think has about 5,xxx on his 1k. Rides it fairly hard and takes care of it and I’d buy it in a hurry We’ve rebuilt two engines, both 900’s, one decently taken care of and the other was hard core abused and both engines burned up the crank bearings at 3500 miles. If I were buying used I’d stay 1500 miles or under. But it really depends on the owner and how they ride and what they ride. Anything over 3000 I’d consider high solely based off our experiences with the engine rebuilds. The crank rod bearing and the piston rod bearing on the clutch side are the last two items in the oil system to get hit with oil on start up or “dirty” oil when running. But there are people who put 3500 miles on these things a year from what I’ve seen. So it’s all about the maintenance performed on that unit for the course of its life before you buy it. If it’s had Polaris or factory oil in it all it’s life I’d stay away. We run rotella in our stuff and the oil is much cleaner and proven through oil analysis to be better for the engine. Lots of factors to decide on. Hopefully this and the video helps. Thanks for watching!
hey i just bought a 11 800s what engine oil do u guys run , i saw you mention in a comment you run rotella because it’s better then polaris. is it diesel rotella
@@CrashCitySxS yea they have that problem on the pro's hopefully they fixed it i got a 2022 pro on the way the guy from the dealer ship said they where putting stiffer springs in them i will see when it gets here
Our buddy has a ‘21 pro xp and the tenders are flat on them. Keep in mind though Polaris never meant for them to be a true dual rate spring. That spring is just in there to keep tension on the main spring so it doesn’t come unseated. The main springs are junk too. Although the fox springs and shocks on ambers buggy are doing much better about sagging than the walkers on our fourseater. We have the rzr aid tenders on our rides now. Much better. Looking at a full spring setup in the future though. Thanks for watching man!

Lol!!! They’re all shot even on a brand new unit!!! Come on Polaris!!!
