Few questions. Are these vintage watches the ones that you have to take off before washing your hands? And is it normal for original components to be swapped with non factory components for this vintage pieces and dealers and buyers would not press on this issues?
Generally ok unless you dunk your hands in a tub of hot water every time you wash up 😅😅. It’s very important that all components inside the watch are original, no matter how old the watch is.
There’s actually a market for these “flashy” watches? I can’t imagine walking around with something so flashy especially these days when so many people are being robbed for their watches.
Your presumption is probably based on viral London street robberies😂 in macau and hongkong its quite civilised so people can just wear gold watches out in the bustling street with no fear.
