I wouldn't doubt it for a second if his opinions were valued. And even if not, enough members of his fanbase would use the decks he showcases to such a degree that it would force Konami to nerf them accordingly. Dkayed has such a foothold in the DL player community that his influence matters.

Konami wants as many decks to be viable as possible, and if certain cards are being played waaay more than others, or if they notice a general drop/increase of certain cards being played due to the presence of other "unfun" cards, that's how they choose their targets. The cards/decks that are hit the hardest are rarely the ones you see the most in the KC Cup, although I wouldn't doubt it if the KC Cup also factored into the decision making, as well.

My quariaon did miss the timing vs a thunder dragon deck I chain star guardian to the effect of chaos dragon on summon, got destroyed during the chain in the middle of its summon and acording to ocg rulling It should have still activate its effect to banish but It did not

Thunder dragons: levianeer can Shrug off anything that star guardian does due to chain bs Water xyz: abyss dweller with atlanteans can disrupt anything Fire kings: arvata nopes anything you try to create with effects Backrow heavy deck: you're boned if you failed to draw trunade

crystrons unlimited were way better and more consistent. this needs a specific skill. crystrons unlimited has so many opening hands that would lead to the same plays as this deck.
also would like to add that crystrons can do the same plays but also in the opponents battle phase. the final duel if it was unlimited crystrons that guy would be sent to fortnite for sure

Trunade is not the only problem. It is the skills that allow switching cards for specific cards in the hand with no cost.
