This reminds me of when I drove accross the country without telling anyone spontaneously. One of the most fun things I've ever done. Felt very freeing

I literally just did this exact same thing a few months back. I moved from PA to southern CA and I loved it. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to do that and experience everything along the way. It was so much fun!

Hey this is super late reply but my family moved from California to New York and we took what we could in our 2 cars, mainly cloths and smaller stuff like that and for our furniture and kitchen stuff and whatever else we just hired a moving company to transport it to our new house at a specific date.
I asked my parents how much it was and they said it was about 3k but that includes insurance if anything gets lost or damaged along the way.
Ive done it before but it’s hella expensive and I moved with a thousand dollars but I wish I would have saved at least $3500 because even with me having a great job waiting for me when I got down there I was poor asf and couldn’t afford anything. I’m all for living a free life but pleeaasseee plan for it!
My boyfriend and I rode his motorcycle from Southern Fl to Arizona! It was a crazy trip. I recognize everything that you have vloged. Texas was the worst; it took forever. Good luck on your journey!

If your car gets icy again, turn on your heat and then change the setting to the option that has a radiator with heat waves coming out of it lol

Krystal Jane Peguero easy. Save up about 5k cash to 10k cash depending on how much you spend and need. Know where you want to move to and just go for it.

Okay idk if this is still your goal but as someone who lives/has lived in Miami for 11 years I have a little bit of experience. Most places here ask you for 3 month’s rent before you move on & rent on a 1 bedroom or a studio is around 950-1000 a month depending how close you are to downtown (IN downtown it’s like 2500 for a studio apartment). I recommend you save literally as much as you can so you don’t have to worry about finding a job right away when you move in. Also everything here is about a 30 minute drive so you can move to towns like Cutler Bay, Palmetto, Kendall and not have to pay as much as it would cost you to live closer to Miami Beach.

I'm from Florida too , planning to drive to Los Angeles to move in September. I was supposed to move earlier but Rona had other plans hahah.
What motivated you to move? Hope you’re content and thriving. Interesting people in Cali want to move to Florida, I guess we get bored where we are at. Ultimately I feel as you get older you want to be close to family...if you have a good family, sometimes we are too selfish and want to be on our own and not think about how it affects others, parents etc....but it does affect you when you’re not around people who love you.

Moved from Indiana to Arizona to live with my brother 6 months ago, now I’m trying g to move from Arizona to South Carolina within the next 3 months.

And there's 'southern' states, but SOUTH FLORIDA is where you lived. Florida is ready to divide like the Carolina's did, (jk). Once upon a time, I left Colorado in a blizzard. Had to pull over to chip the ice off the headlights (w screwdriver) it was almost 2" thick & the light didn't go thru. Stay Happy, the world needs more ppl like you.
You can literally get jackets, gloves, and warm socks from any Walmart, and you can literally scrape ice off your windshield with a credit card if u need to. Safe travels 🇺🇸
