Was the Gen 3 better it having a speaker. I bought the Gen 4 an got the Michel Kors Grayson for $108.00 but iPhone limits it’s full potential use. I love Fossil watches. Collected several of them. These smart watches love the concept. Hopefully next Generation has all we are looking for in a smart watch. Got that same watch for $127.00 at a Fossil store. Traded in the Q Marshal Gen 2 used and wast able to repair so Fossil stores have some kind of upgrade as long as you’re under warranty or just bought it from a Fossil store. Call your local Fossil store maybe you can trade them in for 50% off. I don’t like to pay full price on watches.
Hi i see its been two years now you've unboxed it and i wanna know if its reliable and i can use it for long term because here in India its way too expensive and instead of a traditional watch which will last me years I've gone for this one .. I've seen that the problem with the charger ring and the back panel ia quite common...how is it for you and please give me suggestions so i can avois those problems...people watching this can help too...thanks...

I have this watch and use it with an iPhone. This watch shows me all my notifications but I can’t answer from the watch which I don’t mind because I always answer from my cell phone anyway. This watch actually feels and looks better then my Apple Watch.
@@raghavsambrey3623 I'm not not sure what you mean by this. The watch will vibrate when navigation is in use on phone but you cannot access Google maps without phone. There is no standalone app to my knowledge
@@Macstechtoybox I've seen some videos of moto 360. The google maps app for the wear os was installed on the watch itself and one can access google maps thru watch. The maps work the same way on the watch as they do on the smartwatch (by highlighting the way by blue lines), just that the display and ui elements are small. Actually i am looking for a smartwatch which can run google maps because I drive alot and its tedious for me to everytime check my phone for the desired way. Hope you got my point, and please do suggest me some smartwatches which can do the same and have powerful hardware.

I love this watch so much when I got this on my birthday last week , kinda wish this was water resistant. huge fan of fossil.
it is waterproof. You can take it swimming upto 100 meters. IP68 with 5 ATM

Should I buy this or the The Fossil sport? For non fitness related use, battery life and ease of replying to text messages is priority.
Personally I would recommend the fossil sport only because it has the newer Qualcomm chipset so it's more fiture proof

Assistant speaks back and I'm sure there is a custom watch face out there that allows for this but not stock

Is work with WhatsApp and Spotify?
Yes. Spotify has a wear os application. However you cannot download music to watch for offline playback and functionality is limited
