Is there sth that explains notations used in the slides? Every time I watch sth about a topic, all notations differ; and the speaker may forget to clarify. A clarification as notes would help the audience a lot!
lol I believe you are talking about Michael I Jordan sitting at the far left. Look him up and google scholar page and you will realize listening to his comments at a high level is quite a bless.
@@superhanfeng I am on part 2 of the videos and know it is him and that he is very insightful. However, I don't think it is respectful to the speaker and undermines them.
So far the best explanation of DPs I've seen to date!
the illustration on sampling from Dirichlet distrib is probably the best I've ever heard (starting 28:00)
perfect intuition at the beginning about the effects of beta and dirichlet parameters
What a great teacher
very insightful explanation on non parametric Bayesian.
This is amazing.

i heat to be interrupted by audience
Apparently she took credit for something someone else discovered
The blokes in the audience interrupting her lecture... I mean, come on
The guy constantly adding info from the audience is annoying

Explaining a simple idea in a complex way is not so great.
Not sure where you actually see this happening in the video?
leaving a negative comment without explaining it is not so great
Great lecture!
