Excellent sign for Mr Omanyala as he is like Nigerian 100 metres chit IMO who did at 9.9 in the Fourth African games in 1987 at kasarani sports complex.
He's a strong sprinter! high elevation does not affect sprint times positively. typically sprint times tend to be a bit faster compared to sea level. Hopefully he makes it to the final in Tokyo.
In 4th African games in Kasarani just like Mr Omanyala, Mr chitt IMO broke the world 100 metres for men but it was rejected as they said,he was assisted with wind.
The commentator is completely ignorant. You don't need that kind of physique to run a fast 100m. Look at Frankie Fredericks, Oblique Seville and Andre Degrasse, for example. There have been many other outstanding thinly built sprinters over the years.

If serious can run less than 10sec
He should minimize women and alcohol to be able to bit the 9.58 of Usain Bolt 2009..otherwise go kenya gooooo🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪

THE CHAMP IS STILL SLOW...
He should go live in west africa and run against guys who run 9s on a regular basis, it will help him improve

Huyu commentator ameshinda hapo kwa physique...very shallow commentary
No, his physique is his problem. Too bulky for elite international stage.
