We’re Dean & Nala, and we’ve been best friends since December 2018. I was actually cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet - but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, we’ve been travelling the world together. So feel free to tag along if you’re interested in following our journey and adventures around the globe ❤️

I am in quarantine, a 78 year old nana and love how you can give me beautiful moments of seeing the world through Nala's eyes. Your book is wonderful. The love between the two of you is divine. Not sure how anyone could give these videos a thumbs down......rescued a cat from a horrible situation, has jumped through hoops to take her with him even forgoing a plane ride so she wouldn't have to go in the cargo hold (a place not suitable for ANY living being) and giving her the best life!!! I can't give you enough thumbs up!
I thought I was the only one who loved my cats like this, talked to them as if they were fluent in english and kissed them constantly.
Ziggy,i had a rescue cat for 20 years,he was my little boy,talked to him,sure he could understand me.Now I have another,a one year rescue,more work,but worth every second for the nose bumps and the gum rubbing,That was six years ago,he is on my bed sleeping,contented.Cats give so much love,if you only know how to treat and show them love

@@jordanabeaulieu2530 Those baskets typically have a short leash in them to prevent this and you can see it in most videos. Also if she were scared by something and jump out, she would probably stay close to him or at least in hearing range.
Most cats would be terrified. At least, any cats I've had.

I wish he'd wear a mask in public, especially in places where other people are wearing masks as the employees in the pet store are doing. If other, pandemic, reasons aren't enough, it's always polite to follow local customs.

She is secured with her harness and clipped in so she would not be able to jump out, but it is amazing that she does not even try to though.
@@usfanlovesjiwoo1978 I don’t think she’s actually attached to the bag on the bike. She’s just got a lead. She stays there because she feels safe and doesn’t want to leave him. If he attached her to the bike, if he fell off, she would not be able to jump out.

This was Christmas day for Nala!! This was the cutest day out with Dad for that little princess. You should see the vid where he stays with a fan seemingly on a farm. There are turkeys and a house cat. Nala lets the house cat know who's boss by taking a swipe at her! Nala OWNS the world!

@h m isolated 3 rd week now but will be glad to stay isolated as long as needed so we don't get sick. Our beautiful Maine Coon has not been doing well. Think it is a bad tooth although vet said she may have kidney problems so fingers crossed. She got a shot of antibiotics and a pill for pain hoping in the next day she will be able to eat properly. Never rains it pours but I am thinking positively that all will be well. Hoping the world will be a beautiful caring place when we come out the other side. Thank you so much for asking it means a lot to me. I hope all is well with you?

Nala is surefooted! She rides confidently on the rim of her basket. Dean is so lucky to have found her and rescue her. Nala is the puuurrrrfect traveling companion for him.

From watching Dean we were inspired to help some feral kittens and ended up with 2 little sisters that were feral kittens similar to Nala. They've become so much like Nala (minus the bike and the world view from her basket) that we can't imagine life without them in our day. Spoiled and loved just like Nala and we'll behaved, these little cats have turned out to be model citizens, just like Nala! They must be related to deans wonderful little cat with their disposition. I so enjoy watching these father & daughter videos, thank you for sharing with all of us, such a treasure!

The smell of him - his mane especially was something unique and wild...

I've seen dogs do that.
Better than what happened one of my cats many years ago.
Just fell over and refused to move. We picked him up, put him back on his feet. Just fell over. Rinse and repeat over and over.
Five, ten minutes later, and we removed the harness and he trotted off.
We learned our lesson.
The right training & harness is important. Some cats are easier than others, but most need proper training.
I walk my 3 cats with a harness outdoors...2 of them were difficult, but still they learned in a couple of days to walk in it & now they don't care about it, when being outdoors.
