@@AfricanTalesBestHT THERE IS ENOUGH NASTINESS IN THE WORLD. WE DON'T NEED TO CONTRIBUTE TO IT.
THE SETTING WAS GOOD. IT EXPOSED HER LACK OF MANNERS, BREEDING AND UPBRINGING WELL. TO THE POINT WHERE THE OTHER CUSTOMERS NOTICED AND WERE IRKED BY IT.
HER SYCOPHANT FRIENDS WOULD DO BETTER TO DROP HER FROM THEIR CIRCLE AND NOT PICK UP SUCH BAD HABITS.
THE REASON SHE MAY HAVE ISSUES WITH HER WALK MAY BE DUE TO THE EFFECT OF HER HARSH WORDS SPOKEN.
NOT IN A POSITION TO STAND UP AND DEFEND HERSELF, IS VERY HUMBLING.
SOME NARCISSISTIC BULLIES ARE IGNORANT OF THIS FACT OR JUST GET A SADISTIC SATISFACTION FROM IT, FLAUNTING THEIR POWER.
BUT WE CAN LESSEN IT IN OUR OWN SMALL WAY. BY HELPING SOMEONE IN NEED. EVEN IF UNWARRANTED WHEN WE CAN.
MANY RICH PEOPLE BORN WITH A SILVER SPOON IN THEIR MOUTH AND OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY BY THEIR UPBRINGING. HAVE NO IDEA THE HARM THEY CAUSE TO SOMEONE LESS FORTUNATE, REGARDLESS OF THE SETTING.

Everyone should have to do 2 things before graduating high school. Be a server in a diner or restaurant. 2 serve in the military, just like other countries do it.
And, for people like me who graduated 40 years ago this past June, make a reserve/reserve core of older people who would be part time reservists but get health benefits and small pay for their service until age 62.

The cook does NOT need to be fired, for sure there was NOTHING wrong with the first meal. This Evelyn person was just exercising her imagined superiority.
The young waitress was exhausted “running on fumes”, from working and studying and was doing the best she could. SHE didn’t do anything wrong. Evelyn was just “being Evelyn”, a truly unpleasant person, who would not be satisfied, no matter what, if she felt (and she always would) someone was beneath her. This actually would be anyone not in her small ( lonely) circle “The frozen chosen”
We can think two thoughts here “ what goes around, comes around” and (my personal favorite); “Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you”.
The Golden Rule, a good rule to live by.
