I agree. If you’re balling and your team sells, your status should still go up. That way, when you play with randoms you’d be able to tell who’s actually good at the game and who sucks by their status
I feel like the game got worse after it went free on pass and psp. Not gameplay mechanics but the community of players. People that been on 24 for months now mixed with people that have zero clue.
J midd, bro that's just a form of skill based matchmaking, if you're good at the game, you'll be put trash players on your team and you're expected to get them a win. I play call of duty, and it's the same way, for every 40 kill game I get, there's always ppl on my team that are 5-29. That's just gaming now days. It's not going anywhere either.
I get what you’re saying but it’s nothing going to work the same because it’s a different type of game. In call of duty a good player can really carry the team with killstreaks and other things. But in 5v5 it doesn’t matter how nasty one person is. That’s not a conducive way to win games consistently. ESPECIALLY if the other players are trash. They’re just going to get exposed every time. They make this game easier for the casual player to try to have fun. Taking away the ability to see randoms shooting percentages, plus minus , average teammate grade , win percentages. Those trash players will never find a game and that’s why 2k is in the state it is today.
Dude I just got an ass whooping in rec 104-20 smh a 3 man squad came in there that was straight doo doo. They couldn't shoot and played no D AT ALL. Smh They ran into crowds getting they shxt beat, getting ripped, throwing terrible passes. A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. They got anything they wanted. I could not operate cause the other squad just rushed me every time. I should've quit when I saw one of them with a 5'9 build, he couldn't stop no one and he couldn't do nothing himself. I was waiting for them to quit which they did not. Smh😭😭😭 They doubled us in rebounds, we had 20 TOs, they had like 20 blocks. Lol 2k so trash, none of them dudes graded out. I turned the game off after that. 😂😂😂
Bro the severs alone on top of getting banned..i started playing park again because the rec is so bad and i actually enjoy it more because at least you can choose who you play with and its not random weirdos..lately i have only exclusively gotten the worst teamates possible in rec. My status and win % went up a lot since i stopped playing rec . You get less for winning but if you lose it doesnt really affect you status too much..but if u get a good streak going you can progress and if u get good teammates 9/10 they gonna run until you lose cause game are only like 5 mins or so.. less stressful for sure.
They need to bring back seeing players percentages , plus minus, average teammate grade all that. All that shit that can indicate if you’re good at the game or not. Since the took that out it’s been way harder to decipher which teammates are actually decent or not 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I swear I keep getting put with garbage ppl , I play the SF but 2k always puts me at PF and I swear nobody likes to pass to the PF I was a Gold now I’m back to a Brown, because 2k can’t pair me with the right kinda teammates, smh nobody cares to lose I be jus tryna win smh
@@desmonddavis3422 the game is definitely bad in my opinion, microtransactions, horrible gameplay animations u get stuck in and cant control, paint defense is horrendous u damm near have to be in perfect position everytime which is impossible when ur rotating, rewards are repetitive and not good, etc. but if we talkin offline id say its decent the online experience is diabolical tho

Got consistent wins when i started playing with silver gold mvp and i back out immediately or restart before i get locked in. It’s not foolproof and you won’t play nearly as many games but the experience and quality of games got much better for me
Ngl, I had way more success with just regular rec on 23 even as a solo player... no squads rec is just straight dukey water... if I get the bottom of the barrel teammates and losing a game well over 30 points, why should that be held against me if I quit or close app? Bans definitely need to be removed
