I wait for the teacher to call their name when they raise their hand I glance at their homework/paper/whatever(cuz you always write your name on the top of a paper) When we're in a group activity/project, I write my name down on the paper, then I give the paper along with the pencil to my partner, so my partner then follows what I do and writes their name then passes it to the next person so they write their name... Ect. That way, I can know the names of who I'm working with. In the meantime, I never call anyone by their first name for fear of getting it wrong. (unless youre a close friend of course)
