I really like how these turned out! Your Mod Podge versions look fine, imo. I'd personally be game to get two of each of these sets: one to leave the items way they came, and one to modify into the "complete" dessert. So I'd have a plain cheesecake and a blueberry cheesecake, for example. And multiples of the dishes and tableware would be fine, too - matching dishware sets are always a win.
One set as the play set, for the dolls to cook and the other make up for that "tv magic" effect! Like the dolls actually cooked! 😁😁😁

The Make It mini food waffles look incredibly realistic. Adding the syrup puddles to the dish was epic! Those are the very special touches that make you so entertaining and informative. I’m always smiling after watching and the heavens know we can all use more smiles. Thank you! 👍🏻🤗👍🏻
I love that you can skip using the resin! Now I want them. I was honestly really surprised they included resin in what is supposed to be a kids toy.

Also, ps the resin comes in mini food containers and it's sealed, so you can still use them with your dolls without opening them. If you don't want any of the resin, I'd gladly buy them all from you!
The MGA mini verse food is most definitely my fave. I love the idea of it not all being glued together as it gives more versatility and allows some mixing and matching. I’ve also wondered if this item could be paired with slime or some other sticky substance which is temporary. Annoyingly I have to wait until April to purchase these from Amazon (in the UK) but hoping the shipment arrives earlier or other stores stock them soon.
I’m also loving the foodie range and collecting with my daughter but who doesn’t want to create a mini cheesecake. 😊

The slime works great! And safer for smaller kids too. I watched another channel unbox these, she only had a few colors so she couldn't make all of the foods, but the ones she did make looked great.
The chocolate shake has more of a root beer float look to it IMO, because of the air bubbles in the slime being visible, but still really cool.

Love that you’re checking this out! I would love for MGA to do branded style minis (with their doll lines or even licensed) similar to how Re-ment does collab sets (Sanrio, snoopy, etc)
By the MGA Mini Food - I think Styrofoam glue might work as it dries clear...I have made drinks with it - like where ppl would use UV resin as I am not a big fan of the resin smell (we used to use the Practiglo resin when making human sized trays). I cant test this theory with the Styrofoam glue, because where I live we always get toys a year or two later. The price on Amazon is a bit brutal for the MGA Mini Food when you add shipping and customs, which is more than the items price.

I'm so glad you looked at the Make it Mini food! I saw them on another channel and thought you would like it. I agree with not wanting to use the resin, though you can still use the bottles for food props if you wanted.

I love those Mini Verse toys! But I totally agree that playing with resin doesn’t sound fun! But CoolToys opened an entire box of those Mini Verse balls, and she had a brilliant idea! She used slime instead of opening the resin bottles, that way she could keep all the parts and reuse them!
I don’t blame you for being wary of resin, Toya! I have an extreme latex allergy and wouldn’t be able to near the stuff. Plus, resin requires immense safety measures (breathing, skin) or it is toxic. So many resin creators end up with problems later.

Rement has been a favorite but I really like the other options. I saw another video where they used colored slime in the shakes, which is also not permanent and can be switched out. You guys are all full of great alternatives!
I bought quite a few of the Make It Mini Food blind boxes for Christmas. I've been loving making them. I also managed to get the display because I bought the last few.
I think that this is the only surprise ball I'll be happy with getting doubles or triples on. EVERYTHING is so cute and perfect for the dolls and rooms 💖

The modgepodge was a great idea. But soo many TH-camrs have commitment issues with the resin in the kit!😅 I made two tarts from Mini and they came out fine. Tip: use gloves, a fan, and open a window. Cure with a gel nail UV light. Thanks for sharing an alternative way to assemble the mini foods.

I think your cheesecake turned out better than from those who used the resin, because you could easily smear the glue on top as well to make it all shiny.

Use the resin. It isn’t bad! Do you have a UV light at all? I used a small nail one. It’s super easy and faster. I’m going to get a few more today!

I would’ve really loved to have seen you use the Resin that it came with at least once , so we could know how the product works!
There are other channels showing use of the resin. I’m with Toya and safety on this-resin is not healthy, especially for people with latex sensitivity, respiratory problems or sensitive eyes/mucosal membranes. I can’t use resin at all after long history of working in research labs, even with a good respirator mask and pristine filters. Modpodge to the rescue! The unopened little resin “sirops” are cute on cabinet “displays” of cooking/food items.

I love Re-Ment!!! The details are unmatched! Mini Verse food?! I haven't heard of that, but I must have it!!! I don't know if I'd use the resin part - it sounds like Totally Tiny's slime that I just threw away LOL I miss Totally Tiny - I haven't seen any new ones in quite some time. It's so hard to choose a favorite! It depends on what scene I'm doing LOL

It's amazing how you turned out to be right about the resin despite all the comments complaining, all of these except for the Spa ones just got recalled due to the resin being dangerous for kids!

It's too hard to choose my favorite because all of the different toy brands of food are amazing! 🤩 And being able to make realistic doll food and keep the leftovers, from the mini verse food, too is SO COOL!!!🤩 I also really love the realistic doll bear-themed food and items. 🥰 On my channel (called Jaden Bear), I've unboxed Barbie packs with food in it, the Chinese food Totally Tiny pack, and some 5 Zuru Surprise mini brands and foodie brands too. 😁

Thank-you so much for making these! I ordered several mini brands because I wanted the little containers of berries. I got one set with berries out of six balls. All of the rest were drinks. My grandson wanted to help, so we set out to make one of the drinks. I don't have a UV light, so we opted for sunlight, which was a failure. We ended up getting resin everywhere, and I vowed to never buy them again. Seeing your idea for mod podge is genius, so maybe I will open the rest of mine and use that. I am an avid Re-ment collector, but I really like the surprise balls, so I may try some more and hope for more berries.

I like how the mod podge alterations look. I'm not too keen on using resin either, and since their items are marketed towards a younger demographic, to have something like that at home is insane.
I believe the age that it says on the ball is around 8+ I personally think that is a perfect age to start letting use theses kind of toys

Whoa, I JUST looked up your food videos and saw this and went what how’d I miss it! That’s because it’s brand new lol. Awesome!! I just started buying rainbow high dolls with my daughters. We snagged the dollhouse for $99 and the fashion closet for $20 and a buuuunch of the dolls for similar deals. Now I want to buy all sort of accessories for them lol!
0:32 not just on Amazon, pretty much any JP hobby store will sell you a complete box of a new series (you can preorder them too!). They are factory sealed with a special sticker that reads 'this seal signifies a complete set' :)

Love the tray and the food and that blender is pretty amazing.
I saw these on their website a while ago and found one in Walmart about 2 weeks ago. it was strawberry french toast and I used the resin. I didn't have a UV lamp so I left it in the sun. It did not harden lol the sun is not very direct where I am right now. But I bought a lamp and another ball! I'll see how that one goes. I absolutely love these, but I grew up on Rilakkuma and re-ments so I'm still really fond of those too!
I collect Re-ment as well. They are best purchased as a box set. I recommend Plaza Japan. They are reliable and have a large assortment! 🙂

We got one with blueberries, sliced bananas and "syrup" or resin and French toast. I decided to keep it all separate and not glue them!

I actually prefer the resin cause it’s more convenient it drys faster but I like the Mod Podge cause it’s more realistic great idea!
