I'm here for 5 mins solid staring at this coming into being. Then, I realize my jaw is hanging open. Nice one! Sent this to my husband. He says, "I can take a hint." 😂 Get crackalackin' then! Awesome creativity and execution. Bravo!
Its Really Good Idea Make the skull from a artesanal perspective or you just put some mold of skull and forge it .. Maybe ... but will be awesome for something unique :D
As a welder I have to point out you'd likely only see welding penetration, when welding it's extremely hard to weld low carbon steel to medium carbon steel most of the time it won't even stick and if it does as soon as it cools down it cracks apart and also because the outside is pretty much entirely weld it just be a Gray glob
I'm in love with some of your pieces! I'm currently awaiting for one of your rings that i ordered, i wish i had enough money to get some of your stuning cutlery!
Otro gran trabajo de fabricacion quedo estupenda esta guarda realizada a partir de pedazos de hierro, mis felicitaciones y respetos desde Venezuela.👍👍👊
Dude...... SOFA KING KILLER. You nailed every part of this knife...... NAILED IT !!!!! I am amazed at your craftsmanship. Great F'ing job sir. You should make a female co-part to this. Maybe incorporate some inlays or something. Anyway, nice job. I'm awestruck... big time. Happy holidays to you and your family.
This is some Grade A Bonn-afied work (sorry, I’ll see myself out) The other thing I was going to say, we all could have our opinions, but art is created and it doesn’t have make sense. Sometimes you have to crack a few omelets if you want to make a great egg. This is an excellent example of art that everyone would have done differently. But the guy who beat EVERYONE to it was Bonn...and you can’t fricking argue with that!!
Bonn , would you be ok sharing the Information on how to find the same exact printout for the human skull that you used on this project? What a magnificent tool to have laminated to have hanging near the work bench. Thank you for all of the hard work that it takes to film/edit for us. May this find you well.
You went to all that work creating the amazing skull, only to pair it with a clunky looking blade and barely basic scales held on with what looked like deck screws... It feels like you got bored with the project and just slapped something together once the gorgeously detailed skull was finished. Watching you cut into the underside of it to weld on that blade was truly painful to watch...
As a knife connoisseur i see the art but not a knife im afraid I love the skull maybe you could've incorporated that skull into a pommel & make a knife that can be used 👍🏼👍🏼
Great work as always, but being honest the quality of the skull is wasted on being a guard for a blade versus being the head for a cane/walking stick. Winced a bit on the cuts / welds to it for the blade & handle. Till the next project.
@@excitedpiccolo4098 Oh yea, was my personal opinion... Didn't mean to come off demeaning his work at all, he's a craftsman, we're lucky we get to watch.
Not a fan of the blade style, i feel it detracts from the beauty of the skull crossguard. I felt the rustic handle scales paired fairly well though. Solid idea. Perhaps a second rendition later. I feel that skull would have been more well suited for a pomel.
Looks cool but in reality the knife would be horrible at anything besides being a decoration. Unless you used it to smear butter on bread and I doubt it could cut it either.
we haven't done something like this for a long time! I will be glad if you like the video and share it with your friends! Thank you :)

Dude that is soo sick, I'm still baffled that this channel "only" has 200k you deserve way more man
True

This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Kinda sick. But mesmerizing in the most pleasing way.
Truly one of my favorite projects I’ve seen in a very long time
Die Totenkopf is top!!!! Perfekt handarbeit!
Hi Bonn beautiful knife beautiful job well done I like it thank
Tal vez no me entiendas pero eres una persona increíble que le pone mucho empeño a su trabajo y espero que te vaya de maravilla.
I would love to see that etched in ferric chloride. I wonder how the weld wire and the base wire would differ. Awesome project!
Yea ferric chloride would make it even better

@@dragofill2808 - could always nickel plate it..would look awesome & no need to worry about dissimilar metals or rusting whatsoever
@@woodstockxx indeed you could

Wowww que bien hiciste la calavera con sus rasgos anatómico

The skull part's pretty cool at least.
That is definitely a 'work of art'.
Dude!!!!! That is wicked cool!!!!!!
Sooo ski! Skillz level 100,inspired!
I watch this 3 times 🔥🤘🏼🔥
I love the craftsmanship and the artwork. Where I would have differed is with a traditional RMC dagger through the skill. Amazing attention to detail.
Nice work
Work of art that..absolutely amazing..I’m nothing short of stunned & amazed 😱👏👏👏👍
Looks who Really enjoy and aprecciate this Quarantine seasson !! Again Amazing Skills

Amazing how ur able to see this come to shape every single new weld
awesome
That is SICK! and what rotatory tool and shaft is that?
Nice
the skull took a lot of work isn't it worth it to do a casting ?
Hell yeah, GREAT Idea 🤘🤘
You never cease to amaze me with your creativity and skill 🤩

Just search for Netter anatomy atlas or Sobotta anotomy atlas. Neurocranium/skull part. There is a lot more than Bonn has.
Skull as a pommel and the jaw as the guard handle inbetween
Like the skull, hate the blade.
Amazing skull work tho
Top 🍃💤👌.. cara... gostei muito...🍃🔥🔥🔥
whats that corded high speed rotary called? what brand?

It feels like you got bored with the project and just slapped something together once the gorgeously detailed skull was finished. I would add there is zero shame in creating beautiful sculptures like your skull and collaborating with other blade-smiths
As a knife connoisseur i see the art but not a knife im afraid I love the skull maybe you could've incorporated that skull into a pommel & make a knife that can be used 👍🏼👍🏼
Lostvayne?
How heavy was the skull
Can someone tell me how you would go about setting up a workshop? Not something as advanced as this. something smaller (hobbyist level)?
whats that music playing
How much for something like this ???????
When you started to Mark the skull for cutting ..........nooooooooooooo
Same here !
😍
I would've put the skull the other way up but still mate, to that is so sick! Craftsmanship and originality top notch
❤️❤️❤️
The skull is absolutely amazing! So much skill! But not a fan of the blade. Sorry! 🙈
Can I order one
Do you think he's wearing the gloves backwards on purpose?😆
Likey likey
👍👍👍
This guy must have some background in art
So fucking awesome!
Waw😙😍

The man made what he saw in his mind, putting it on a cane or walking stick would be just too simple minded
@@excitedpiccolo4098 Oh yea, was my personal opinion... Didn't mean to come off demeaning his work at all, he's a craftsman, we're lucky we get to watch.
I agree. Would make a bad arse cane for an old bloke.

I don’t get it, why he wears the gloves reversed.
The rubber dots has to be inside, for better grip! ;)
6:21 "Predator"
caribbean pirates
That would be awesome on a sissy bar
Why would someone dislike this I believe it's because they can't do what he does they are jealous
Bel ouvrage
The video was great btw are you planning on doing something like a discount in your shop for Christmas?
Ништяк
Shoulda just kept the skull as a paper weight 💀 👌
ohhh Insta subscribed! If we could only implant some gold teeth on that guy lol.
AXEGRINDER
Should of applied it to a cutless
That pirate killed peter pan and used his skull as a hand guard for his sword
Looks cool but in reality the knife would be horrible at anything besides being a decoration. Unless you used it to smear butter on bread and I doubt it could cut it either.
How The rifle The amban
red
Not really a fan of the finished product.
Though the skull was excellent
It’s not a cross guard.. it’s a ball guard like on a Scottish Dirk or dudgeon dagger
Skull was bad ass, dont care for the 10th grade shop class knife
