Thanks for sharing this. WT is way above my ability; I'm more of a cruiser on the blue runs. Been to Snowshoe twice and loved it. Closest thing to western skiing I've experienced since moving out east.
Cupps is really more like a western blue IMO. You might find it easier than you expect. Also, if you like SS, check out timberline. It’s under new ownership that’s renovated it and a much better mountain, again, IMO.
I need to dig out my GoPro videos of my fast runs down Cupp practicing for the Cupp Run Challenge. I complete it in 1:50 seconds in 2020 for 2nd place and many of my practice runs averaged around 50MPH so should be some great content with peak velocities around 65MPH
You have to have the gps setting enabled on your gopro while recording. Then when you’re editing you can put “stickers” on the video that have gps features like speed
So snowshoe is lying about their summit elevation saying it's 4848, you started at 47..something ft. I wonder what the temperature difference is with a about 1,500ft vertical between the base and the summit at cup run. The vertical is just a few hundred ft higher than the Empire State building.

I went on cupp and shays great trails definitely the best at snowshoe
This is one fast run. If conditions are great and traffic is low, speeds can easily reach 50-60 mph.
Fore sure! 50mph doesn't look like much on video but it sure feels like it
Had to see what this looked like?!?!? Omg!! You can’t even go into the trees!!

Dang that is fast! And definitely way faster than I'm willing to go now days.
At the speed you’re going I would of been at the bottom and half way up the chairlift.
My younger self would say the same thing!
It’s so fun
What app
I used a GoPro hero 9 black that has gps features than you can then enable speed and elevation features when you’re editing the video
Oh shit !!! Go pro got it like that !!! Thanks man. Have a good rest of the season and shred it
@@dinospeedino623 is that only in editing?

@@dinospeedino623 thank you ;) haven’t messed with as many settings as i liked. Had a blast out at snowshoe.
Anyone know why it’s called the “cupp” run
