there's also a WHOLE Eastern Catholic division, aside from the classic latin Catholic, making 24 churches in total that are actually just one religion, just different rituals and originally languages (latin and arab). Just 1 religion but 24 different churches.
Yes! I was raised in spain and only a few months ago I learned that Christians in Middle East still practice it, even if it's not the majority. We are so ignorant here when it comes to where Christianity originated and in general about the history of christianity. Just a few years ago I also larned about the Orthodox Church which I didn't even know existed, no one had ever taught me about. There is so much to learn every day.
