Yeah it is scripted it requires you to mess with the save file on a certain line(1468) and increase it from 0 - 9 for it to act like you did snowgrave/weird route
Probably due to the actual fountain being a simple cutscene on a black box on genocide after you kill spamton, since the normal place where you would seal the fountain is now the bossroom, meaning it comes before the cutscene. Or I could be totally wrong lol.

Could you try to beat Spamton Neo without calling Noelle? Just damaging him
Doesn't work. Below 6%, he'll always heal to 6%
If you do more than 6% damage in one turn, he survives at 1hp and then heals back
