WMATA Metrobus 2016 New Flyer Xcelsior XE40

Here is a walk through video of WMATA Metrobus 2016 NF Xcelsior XE40 #1001 @ the Washington Auto Show last week. Later this year WMATA plans to get 12 electric buses and will be used at the Shepherd pkwy division as part of metro electric bus plot program. They plan to get ten 40 ft and two 60 ft electric buses which for the tics will most likely be NF XE60s and for the 40 ft ones be either NF or Proterra but we have to wait and see.
