It has been so long since I've seen a full reaction by newer(-ish) reactors to artists like Junsu that I've forgotten the impact he always gives new listeners. He used to be in TVXQ. Believers will say he still is and there will be a comeback. Besides that though, he is now a musical actor and solo idol that is known for his vocals and performance. I think he had one of the longest training time within SM - he almost made a debut but it got delayed because of puberty changing his voice. He's known for his unique voice that sounds like "it's about to break but it doesn't". This is due to the fact that when his debut got delayed because he was going through puberty, he pushed through on his training, and he kept singing as his voice was changing. Trainers warned him he would ruin his voice if he kept doing what he was doing, but he was really motivated to prove he is still good even though he's changing that he powered through training to get to where he is now. His performance on stage and his dance has always been top notch, the way he fills the stage by himself is something to be admired. He has the confidence and artistry with each concept he embodies that each performance he does, he always makes sure is unique and can leave an impression. Musical-wise, his performance in "Dracula" (he played Dracula), "Elizabeth" (he played Death), "Death Note" (he played L), and many other musicals are well known and something not to be missed. This song tears you apart the first time you see and hear it. This MV was so 300 level it really went beyond being the regular kpop in a box standard. The one doing the rap monologue part was Tablo who was in a group under YG (bigbang's company) who had also faced hardship and so the two agreed to collab.
A long time ago someone said that the song depict when he was in the group that is now TVXQ he was on top of the world with the group, plus their original name had something with god in it, basically showing their greatness. It's been years so I can't remember, and all that changed when he and two others decided to fight against what they thought was wrong with SM so the black costume was the bottom. Little girl laughing was basically a mockery or more like everything comes with a price especially when at the top. I think he started to see how him and the other two were treated after they left. They were literally banned from singing on shows and going on variety programs until may be recently last year or 2019. But they weren't the only ones that got banned. That is or was after former SNSD Jessica, pretty normal. That part I do know well enough.
