Mr. Rudd should be Prime Minister of Australia till today. A lot the Australian short comings may not be here now.

Kevin Rudd is someone with brain, instead of someone talking none sense.

It is much easier to hate than to comprehend. Peace.

Sober, positive (meaning the world will continue to spin), independent and informed. Great job, thank you for your input. Please do an Ian Bremer interview again.

Rudd forgets that communism will be communism. Democracy and communism will never marry up.
Democracy means freedom, liberty, free market economies, etc.
Communism is the opposite of that.
    Why is Rudd spruiking communism???

CCP has the power to control domestic Chinese sentiment and direct control of the pla. So the important first task is to understand what the ccp views as a range of acceptable future states. It is critical that the us side does not proceed on the basis of a falsehood. We have seen many negative and wasteful consequences in Libya, Syria, Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc. where is interests were not served and American values and moral authority were undermined. This conflict is very high stakes and it is critical not to blunder.

Mr. Kevin Rudd was speaking at the Asia Society, a very conservative, Anglophone-first in general, and American-first in particular, kind of club for the elites from the US, the UK, Australia, and the like, among whom Mr. Kevin Rudd stands in odd contrast, by the very fact that the great majority of the elements in the audience speak only one language -- English.
Who do you think would comprise his audience?

Kevin Rudd is smart and far-sighted. Too bad that they ignore his advises.
