Agree with you 100%. Consistent arguing is usually a sign that you don't have the same perspectives or standards if everything is a disagreement. Also, it could indicate inability to compromise and selfish behavior in one or both partners. Two strong dominant personalities also leads to a lot of arguing as one usually wants to always be right and in control, a power struggle. Agree, when it gets down to disrespect that will further unravel the weak thread of the relationship. Partners who are compatible, have a high degree of respect for each other, and communicate well (mastering emotions) tend to argue less. Great points. I always say, if they can't communicate it won't work out. Essentially, the way we communicate indirectly shows how much love we have for each other. If I love someone, I certainly wouldn't demean them with toxic words and negative energy, that's not love to me.
